Mitchell could probably do the job but I do not know much about his persona apart from some excellent signings during his tenure. Someone in the Arsene Wenger mould would be ideal, but not him as too old now. Cortese was CEO and we already have one of those. I think strong leadership on the pitch/in the dressing room would be the key to keep us up but it would probably only help us to be a mid table club at best. The majority of our players lack the quality or leadership we have seen in the recent past and the recruitment has been appalling. The present incumbents do not appear to understand how to either work the black box or understand its readings. Three seasons of mediocrity must indicate a change at the top rather than a change of manager, so both ability and attitude can be harnessed from the information we have, in the correct way.
