A popular guy who is often remembered especially for is celebration dance.

This lad is big and powerful and looks a good prospect for the CH birth at some stage.

At 66 the FA are obviously going for youth.

Gazzaniga is the goalkeeping equivalent of Yoshida.

It was in the Daily Mail so it must be true;)

Valery is for the future. Play Soares with Valery on the bench and give him 20 mins or so when appropriate to continue his development. That will keep Cedric on his toes until Valery is perhaps, ready to take the spot.

Great academy players who never made it in the first team

His corners were quite terrible when at the Grecians, so much so we my son and I still call poor corners "Steve Neville" corners at St Mary's. -
As he can hardly score in open play, it is a tad unfair to expect him to convert a penalty.
-
When he comes on you do not feel he can turn the game as Tadic or Mane did. Thats the difference.

Whilst I agree with what you say, he should have the intelligence needed as he went to a Grammar School and I believe I read somewhere that he had a sprinkling of O or A levels.

Keep watching Sky Sports they may have an ugly woman presenter/pundit one day;)

Too disgusting to make any further comment.

Seems to know where he is going and what he wants but having a Board in China does not turn him on. Has the Hoddle "Them things" syndrome.

Other club's fans are not interested in travelling away to the massive Fratton Park once they have seen it and been to the Stadium of Light.

Gave up my ST years ago as so many games on TV now, my round trip of 150miles is too much as I get older. I am not a member either as can get tickets for me and my grandson every game we wish to go to. So many empty seats last Saturday too so why buy 1/2 yearly ST? Official attendance shown circa 28K.

I am afraid it soon made me "tired" reading it and I did not understand most of it.

Mitchell could probably do the job but I do not know much about his persona apart from some excellent signings during his tenure. Someone in the Arsene Wenger mould would be ideal, but not him as too old now. Cortese was CEO and we already have one of those. We need an intelligent football man for this job, not a corporate high flyer IMHO.

I think strong leadership on the pitch/in the dressing room would be the key to keep us up but it would probably only help us to be a mid table club at best. The majority of our players lack the quality or leadership we have seen in the recent past and the recruitment has been appalling. The present incumbents do not appear to understand how to either work the black box or understand its readings. Three seasons of mediocrity must indicate a change at the top rather than a change of manager, so both ability and attitude can be harnessed from the information we have, in the correct way.

Give him a go. We have just got to do something different.
-
and I believe he was England under 21 Captain when we signed him too.

Time to give him and Austin a prolonged rest and give Gallagher and Obafemi a chance I think. It cant be any worse. We have tried everything else and it has not worked so why not?

Southampton's wretched home form a recipe for relegation
rooney replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Th last three managers could not get us scoring goals, so it must be the players and behind that the recruitment team. We are sleepwalking into the Championship again. -
At least Brett scored some goals.

The boy did good yesterday.

Not managers fault. We have had three recently and they cannot make silk purses out of sow's ears. We have to accept we have a bunch of bang average players so questions most be asked about the recruitment. Only one of our new signings playing today which says it all. We appeared frightened of Chelsea from the off and look a relegation team without doubt.
