  1. Irons are notorious for tripping the switches. It may be that your system was overloaded and Mrs CS ironing only aggrevated it. Next time, have a look what else was on at the same time eg, Washing machine, electric fire, loads of lights etc. This may save you buying a new iron!
  2. Rednapp just cannot stop spending. Its in his genes.
  3. Whilst the Trust must be worried about the value of their 60% share holding now because of these results, the remaining 40% of shareholders( Moth, Patridge, McInnes & Co) must be in the depths of despair.PUP!
  4. Included in Debtors are £10282K "Football related debtors " and in Current Liabilities £4619K CVA Creditors which are secured on the debtors. The bank loan shown as £4m+ is the CVA Creditors, it is just that the Companies Register does not have a section to include these, so it places under Bank Loans. I notice on the accounts that there is a contigent liability to pay another £3m purchcase price if returned to the PL by 30.6.22 and this is reduced to £1m if by 30.6.24 but we knew all about this.
  5. Our lads played as well as all the others. Chile were just too quick for us in all positions that had us struggling at times.
  6. May be money due from Fans for shares and Golden Share but in any case almost matched by Current Liabilities
  7. Interesting that Portsmoth City Council created their charge on 19th April but did not register it until 17th October. Still showing on Companies register along with 3 from PFA, 1 from South Point Finance. Accounts as as 30.6.13 show: T/O 370 K Cost of sales 169K GP 201K Wages 384K Loss after depr -514K Fixed Assts 3428K Stock 11K Trade debtors 84K Cash 2,881K other debtors 11496K Total C/A 14473K Trade Creditors 345K Short Term Fin 2675K Misc Curr Liabs 10246K Bank Loans 4266K Other LTFin 100K Share cap. 39K P/L Reserve loss -514K Sdy Reserves 3388K Interesting to see wages more than T.O. and borrowings more than Capital. A bank managers nightmare! However this is more or less on formation and before season started. We shall have to wait a year before we can get a feel of the accounts.
  8. I cannot understand why anybody is surprised at this. What was rthe latest number of U turns since the Election--75?
  9. And to think if he had signed for us, Luke Shaw may not have come through so early. I know who I would rather have now. Funny old game Saint.
  10. I rememebr Phil Dowd was ref when we drew with Newcastle 3-3 (when Sir Bobby was their Manager) at SMS a few years ago and he was superb that day as was the game.
  11. Not in the late 50's & 60's. The side close to the players entrance was always a bog in the winter because it never got any sun!.

  13. Must say Steve Bruce was very complimentary in defeat on all the TV Channels too.
  14. I thought he went to Eastleigh (or Salisbury) on loan?

  16. Only Mike Hancock asked a question at PMQ's. The two ladies were strangely quite. Dineage did appear on Spotlight trying to beef up the repair work that will still go on but I expect the skates will see through these two now. Sorry for all those who will lose their jobs, Skates or not.
  17. He just gets better and better. A great player and intelligent person.
  18. I saw him play many times and he was a stong classey player. I can never recall him having a poor game. Very popular player. RIP and condolences to his family.
  19. A great video. Thanks for putting it on again.
  20. Gary Neville has Wroy's ear and he raves about us all the time. Surely he cannot ignore more of our players now. They talked about this on Saturday Night Football, MOTD, Sunday Supplement and Goals on Sunday on top of that there was the FA Dinner where people must have talked about the match. If Wroy does not take any notice of that then I am a tortoise too.
  21. He also keeps in the background unlike Rupes who always wanted to be in front of the TV Camers, just like Whelan at Wigan too.
  22. Jay Rod's runs have been amazing this season and last v Liverpool. Lallana has gained a yard of pace too, obviously been working at this on the training ground.
  23. Agree but you missed off Smalling.
  24. If Fulham pack their half and Gaston can come on to unlock their defence that is ok with me.
  25. He left Plymouth completely in the lurch when they were doping well after claiming that he was "home" and then went to Leicester. Karma again.
