If the Selection Committee did not realise we need another top class CB & Goalkeeper, they certainly do now as these defensive errors have gone on far too long.

I sat next to a reporter from NBC on the train to the Chelsea Game last month. He had been down to Staplewood to interview Cody Cropper regarding his chances in USA TEam for world cup. He said there are strong rumours that workers in the Cement Works Site on the Itchen opposite the Stadium, had received redundancy notices and an unknown company was buying the site. Make of that what you will.

I remember his ears.

Anders never fulfilled the goal scoring potential he had before he came to us. I remember he was having one of his best games V Fulham away when Wiggles pulled him off to a chorus of "you don't know what your doing" from Saints fans.

A team of Academy Products - the Rupert Lowe dream...
rooney replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
He was always keen on the Academy but apart from some terrible managerial appointments, as Colinjb said, the lack of spending on Saha and Malbranque, not only cost us a good manager but millions of pounds also. He can never be forgiven for that. -
Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 Manchester City
rooney replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Cannot disagree with that . -
Excellent as he started in pre-season and has been in all his games for the first team. Intelligent young man in the Ward-Prouse mold.
-
He is thought of very highly by the coaching staff

My goodness. What a goal!

I was in the Corporates yesteday too for the first time and it was all that spyinthesky said it was. Excellent hospitality.
-
I always found him too dour and thus I would think it would be difficult to motivate players.
-
Anglia were top notch for me. You can get them down in price and they left the site immaculate when they finished. Three days later the fitters came back just to make sure I was happy with their work. I would use them again.

Hope you had a great Mick and invited Garry LIne-akeeeeer.
-
After admiring him for years, I met him with my son in the Hospitality Lounge at the Dell in the early 80's for the first time. He fetched our drinks on that day and was mixing and chatting with all the guests. What a man.

Jack Cork is an excellent player but as RobM said, he plays a similar role as Wanyama. No one can ignore that Wanyama is so much stronger than Jack and I cannot see him starting regularly unless Wanyama or Morgan are injured.

Even older when you remember watching Derek Reeves play v Cherries at Dean Court in the Third Division South

I seem to recall that the FL made conditions that their monthly management accounts were to be submitted, 'er.. monthly. Is anybody ,who knows one of the fan "owners" aware that this transparency is being complied with?
-
The compensation and the extra Salary to get anyone to take on the Skates is going to burn a hole in their budget. I would love to see the monthly management accounts. Anyone ITK?

Tories borrow more in 3 years than Labour borrowed in 13.
rooney replied to pap's topic in The Lounge
Do not worry about the Tories. The bookies and the opinion polls are never wrong. Only a couple of years to go. -
We will be renamed "The Bluebirds" next.
-
We do not need another goalkeeper. AB has been superb this season. A stupid thing to do but it did not cost us the game.

Marians was on SSN lunchtime speaking about Adam. I did not realise he had such a deep voice.
-
We played Yeovil in a pre-season friendly at Huish Park after our relegation from the Premiership. Marians was having a long conversation with Gary Johnson during the warm up, who was then on his first spell as manager of the Glovers. He certainly did recommend Marians to Saints and we got him for about £600K I seem to recall. What a bargain and what a player.

One should never go back.
