  1. Liking the look of Barry. Thats 3 goals in 2 games. Variety too... One left foot, one right and one with the right arm.
  2. You were running round calling everyone "dins" and saying it was painfully obvious we'd sign a CB in January.......
  3. Cortese managed to keep top players even when we were in league 1 and the championship. Players were happy while cortese was here, hence why they left only after he left....and sharpish after he left too If cortese had stayed we'd be in more debt i dont doubt that (all clubs have debt) but wed also be seriously challenging the top 6 now and wouldn't have the same respect for the "top clubs" like Les does.
  4. We are just going to go round in circles and will just need to respect each others opinions and move on. You rate Reed, I dont. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. No dramas.... Biggest issue for me is ambition and honesty - Reed has very little of each in my opinion. Under Cortese we lost AOC and Puncheon Under Reed we've lost Mopo, Koeman, Shaw, Lallana, Lovren, Chambers, Lambert, Morgan, Clyne, Alderweireld, Mane, Pelle, Big Vic and Fonte (VVD n Bertrand will likely leave this summer) thats a lot of talent to lose in a short reign. I think we will go backwards if Reed remains.
  5. 2 weeks off now, so plenty of time to prepare and perfect things. Man United have to play 3 games before the final.... Gives us a huge, huge advantage which I hope we take advantage of. COYS
  6. If we dropped all players that complain about the rotation would we have enough players left for the final? I doubt it Imagine quite a few are feeling like Jay is. Jay (& Long) has been dropped after each game he's scored in... I'd probably be annoyed too
  7. Could have had 4 now. Absolutely terrorising spurs
  8. Mane just scored again
  9. Lol said the same. Typical as I'd taken it off series link 2 weeks ago
  10. Win - ref excellent Draw - ref meh Lose - ref ****
  11. Great news. Feared the worst and avoided checking the score till late on. Will look forward to watching the highlights. Happy days
  12. Cheers mate. Appreciate that
  13. Well done lads. Didnt watch it but sounds convincing. Can actually look forward to watching MOTD for a change. Man of the match??
  14. Booom! Just back from golf (won) so double delight seeing the score. Have Sunderland been poor or we good or bit of both? Barry with the double? Sweet Hopefully burns any relegation fears
  15. Be interesting to see what Puel can do now hes had some "coaching" the time. Sunderlands last 10 games - L L W L L D L L D W
  16. I remember when the cortese leaving rumours started. There was a 30-40 page thread on here + poll I remember 95% wanted Cortese to stay. What i dont remember was any mention of Les "in charge" Reed being mentioned once.... Hell why would he get a mention, he was tucked away behind the scenes as football development manager for our rise from Div 1 to the Prem. You can give Reed credit for the last 7 years, I'll continue to just review him on his actual 2.5 years in charge. The momentum Cortese had built & grown here, now lost by Super Les. Almost insane that one man can loose such positive momentum so quickly. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/25420261?

  18. ^ if you insist on giving Reed all the credit for the work Cortese done.... Yes i agree Reed has been a massive success. I'd personally just judge him on his two years in charge.
  19. I will be in 14 years
  20. Lol - I coached football ("soccer") in the US for a while and the football knowledge was generally "oh ok man England huh, you must know Paul Gas-gone and Gary Line-acher"

Sims, Flourished and 155 minutes of EPL football..... not sure those words go together?
  22. This club (most clubs) don’t give a **** about fans. They make 7 or 8x the income of gate receipts via TV and other income. The "fan" is now way down the priority list at most clubs. More of an inconvenience id imagine these days. Times have a changed
  23. Being in the side just now is pure lottery - form, goals, assists, win, lose, draw it seems to have no impact on the next team selection. Probably why we are not seeing a lift in performances following the EFL semi win. Each time (for example) Jay and Long have scored in the league, they've dropped to the bench for the next game.... Bananas
