As we have looked a little flat so far this season Lee might be the little burst of energy and spark that we need. Ricky seems to have gotten a good partnership going with Welbeck for England, I see Lee as a similar player and may be able to set up a few more opportunities for our front line.

I think saints are naive generally to go for these big name targets, they will always go to the sexy clubs. The amount of time and effort wasted this summer in going after egos is worrying especially when Poch wanted everything sorted in July.

What is his problem with him moving to Southampton ffs, has he never heard of Bedford Place !! Perhaps if saints throw in a free years pass on the Isle of Wight ferry it might swing things.
