Unless someone is really desperate for a managerial job no matter what ala Giggs, no decent manager is going to sign up to the demands, rules and regs of Reed which is probably why we ended up with Puel.

Got to admit that I'm not exactly cockahoop with any of the names being mentioned. Perhaps saints need to be a bit more ruthless and expand their options by looking at managers already in work.

Some of you need to wipe the tears from your eyes. It's not about finishing 8th in the league or having a great day at wembley, great achievements. It's all about enjoying watching them play, beating the big boys occasionally, seeing the ball in the opponent's end rather than endlessly being squared across the back four and that final killer ball back to our goalkeeper. It's about not having to watch constant rotation and weakened teams being selected for must win games. It's about seeing demotivated players become a former shadow of themselves. It's about fans eventually giving up in their droves watching the most negative football since Branfoot decided to sideline LeTissier.

Well that's better news at last, hopefully more to follow. Enjoyed Wembley but that's about it, otherwise a very frustrating season. Enjoy your payoff sir and wish you the best in your management future.

I'm sure that if a manager, playing colleague, hierarchy are hindering a players progress/profile, that player will eventually demonstrate his frustration in some way.

Reed obviously took some convincing then, had he of read fans comments from clubs Puel managed previously he would of known what style of football Puel would dish out, I did and it was always going to be dull, dull, dull.
