I think most posters think he won't sign, but hope that he, or someone else will arrive. Should we need any cover desperately later on in the season, we can always use the loan market......

I'm sure the FA introduced a rule whereby you have to field at least six first team members, so you couldn't possibly send out a complete youth team. That said, when Fergie/Wenger were lambasted a few years ago about playing youth teams in the League Cup, I'm sure one of them retaliated that these particular players were issued with squad numbers pre-season, so they are in first team contention" JPT goes straight to pens as well, no extra time.

Just realised that you can't see the corner going out of play in the highlights for the first goal - better shhhhhhh! About time we had some luck with a goal going in for us!

As the deadline for applications isn't until tomorrow it is probable nothing will be received until Tuesday at the earliest.

Can see this finding its way to the lads next week....

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints

Has he been issued with his squad number yet? (I missed his presentation today so do not know if he held up a shirt with his name/number on?). -
I'll be there at st marys, first derby for me.... unlikely to get to any potential replay due to work tho'

Awful for 60 mins. Felt sorry for Barnard going off as no-one was going to score in that first half. The Mills corner that led to the first goal curled out of play before it found its way in the box. Many in our block though the lino had seen it and cancelled the goal, therefore not celebrating but thankfully he was in front of the Kingsland and didn't see it

No 4 or No.41 do we think? -
I wouldn't rule out a bid for Ademeno, tying up the deal now but letting him stay at Crawley until the end of the season perhaps?
-
"Southampton have completed the signing of ________ ________ for an undisclosed fee" Just waiting for it
-
On official site! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Home/ Ademeno, Puncheon, Danns, Tomlin, Stock, Rooney, Dindane? As seen on twitter... http://www.twitter.com/officialsaints

Thanks - it was the e-mail address I used, although I have got another one on file which has been binned
-
can anyone please confirm the ticket office email address please?
-
I took a letter in on 18th January and tried to take another one in today (possible credit card issue). We were stopped in the car park by the on duty steward, who offered to take letter to ticket office. (probably due to me being on crutches and the horrendous queue). One hopes he handed it in I have e-mailed the ticket office via the web-site and David Luker, but have as yet not received a reply... Hopefully we'll get lucky!

Yes, but don't rule out 'news' breaking on Tuesday. The FA will undoubtedly have a shedload of FAXes in its memory bank at 1659hrs, waiting for someone to refill the paper tray Indeed wasn't Jaidi announced the day after the summer transfer window closed?
-
Seriously worried about missing out on this one - sent a letter in early doors for two seats/travel with remittance payment but nothing is showing up online. I was told that if payment details were missing or invalid the application would be voided

MK Dons' signing of Andros Townsend on loan from Spurs a couple of weeks ago could indicate they have already indentified their replacement for Puncheon......... Hope it comes off, but the longer it goes on.....
-
If he was still contracted to a club fair enough, but to prohibit him from being re-employed elsewhere when he's effectively jobless for the next six months is stupid.

I have just been having a read through the Plymouth forums, and there was a post on there by 'Rupert' (7th down on the link below) stating that Paul Mariner has said that NO fee has been agreed but Saints HAVE made an approach... Of course, that approach could have been accepted since. Wait and see scenario! http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?t=39531&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=60 Also, we are 'underwelmed' by the prospect of him joining, according to 'patred' on the MK Dons forum (last post at time of writing)... http://www.mkdonsforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7716&start=30

SSN reporting that Brum are in for Dindane and Lens have accepted the bid...
-
One assumes he's looking at bringing in at most two more then (Puncheon/Danns and/or Stock/Arfield?
-
Doesn't work for me, just asks for "add another customer number's renewal" and a customer number/access code. Good find though.
-
You must have been just to the right of me, I (and my two crutches) were sat in B47 I thought those directly in front of us knew you, they certainly knew who the mascot was
-
Jason Puncheon - Southampton's new Number 4 or 41? He'd certainly give us pace down the left hand side of the midfield very nicely. Won't believe it completely until its confirmed officially
