I think he will always have problems unfortunately. He's bow-legged and runs on the outsides of his feet. Doing this will put his ankles, knees and hips under extra strain making injury more likely. Van Persie is/was the same.
West Ham making a lot of noise again. We have a whole Summer of this ahead. They are the opposite of us - loud, brash and out in the open with the dosh.
Sorry to disagree, but Brighton know the rules at the beginning of the season, as do all the clubs. Finish top 2 - automatic promotion, otherwise it's play-offs. Brighton needed to beat Middlesbrough to avoid this but they failed.
What happens if 3rd to 6th place are only separated by a couple of points and goal difference? A separate rule?
Plus if Brighton had such a points difference one would expect them to beat Sheff over 2 legs. They failed again.
I'm pleased they didn't make it. I find Brighton to be a rather self-satisfied place, full of media types, it would be another media w***fest if they get promotion. London-by-the-sea so no thanks. Plus I'm surrounded by Seagulls fans so really don't want the rivalry.
That was nervy for long periods, but the relief, wow, the relief and the other results happening as they did, what a day to remember. What an end to the season, the last few weeks have been awesome, so proud of the boys.
Come on Bournemouth!!
What a finish to the season. So close to top 4, frustrating but also incredible. West Ham lose, Liverpool draw, Spurs battered and pushed into 3rd. Shame the Manu U game isn't done and dusted. What a day, what a season.
