I'm not geeting too carried away just happy at where we are at the moment All of our home games before christmas are against top half sides , Middlesbro, Peterbro, Brighton, Hull, Blackpool and Palace if we are in top two after that lot we'll be doing extremely well and that's when I'll start thinking of automatic promotion

I think the attendance figure was taken from Barnsley's match report on their own official site Figures may vary to some extent but normally not too far out

This I think is where the info originates http://www.footballforums.net/forums/showthread.php/277307-Championship-Away-Following-2011-12?p=7313287

Football special Buses are available from the station to and form the ground, so if you are in Three Guieas no need for cabs NB Last time we played up a Reading when we took 3600 fans, they didn't have anywhere near enough buses on to get all of our supporters back to the station after the game, hopefully they will be better prepared this time
-
you can also use Group 4 tickets on the local trains from Basingstoke to Reading which run every half hour at 07 or 37, the only trains you cannot Group 4 for on the Reading are Cross Country Trains. There are three trains an most hours to Basingstoke leaving at 00, 30 (change at Winchester) and 51

Well the normal away section in the Arkells stand was completely full, and i would say there were easily another 4 -500 behind the goal that night stand by my earlier quote of over 1600. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/swindon_town/ "Away fans are located in the Arkells Stand at one side of the pitch, where up to 1,200 fans can be housed".
-
Why don't you just return them to ticket office where you would get full refund of £50 ?
-
NB - Engineering works between Southampton and Romsey that day so need to get up to Eastleigh to catch Bristol Trains
-
Indeed Guly won more headers defending in our penalty area than anyone else especially from the long throw in's Cardiif were using
-
On halfway line according to this plan of the ground http://sl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slika:Selhurst_Park.JPG
-
Nb engineering works mean you'll need to get bus to Basingstoke to get to Reading
-
Group save 4 tickets are not valid on cross country trains, but you can still get to Reading in a little over an hour changing at Basingstoke. Also worth noting kids can travel for £1 if on group 4 if you have 4 adults in group

Our recent record away against Northern teams
oldsarum replied to SaintJackoInHurworth's topic in The Saints
So the 'table' would look like this: P W D L F A Pts 9 3 2 4 11 12 8 So, why is our recent record against Northern teams relatively-speaking (i.e. in comparison to our other results) so bad? it's not great, but also not as bad as you make out, for a start we only lost 2-0 at Rochdale, stats should be P W D L F A Pts 9 3 2 4 11 10 11 so more than a point a game which isn't too bad -
saints away coaches advertised in the Echoo again on Monday and were offering trips to Burnley and Cardiff
-
incorrect its another example of people with no wage rises in the past few years cutting back and missing what in effect was a reserve game
-
No it would have been the top rank / speedway end or whatever that was called in those days, City End ?
-
it's all a planned publicity stunt to push Arsenal's super dooper horrible new badge, probably part of Chambo's contract was to kiss the badge if he scores

I too was under the West Stand at Archers end. I remember clearly the Spurs fans cutting holes in the newly erected fence before and during the game and expected the worse if we beat them. However at the end all that happened was that Spurs fans pressed up against the gaps in the fence got thumped by Saints fans celebrating on the pitch. I think it would have been a different story though had Spurs not got promoted Also a few days before the this game at Orient a few Spurs fans turned up and made it obvious who they were and got sorted out by some of the 12,000 saints fans in the crowd
