A brief report of today's game, following my celebratory Curry on my return to Salisbury First half Saints dominated without really looking like scoring, then Jaidi mucked things up at back just before half time and under hit back pass to Kelvin which Barnes slotted away 1-0 Brighton Second half again Saints dominated, I don't think Brighton had a corner in the whole game, but despite Lallana being introduced for Forte at Half Time we failed to make the best of out possession, Guly hit a shot straight at keeper with the goal at his mercy, Lambert hit post with header and then blasted wide when set up well by Chaplow It looked like being another one of those days. On 80 mins Brighton who had used a lot of gamesmanship and time wasting throughout the game as they did at St Mary's decided to withdraw the ball boys in an attempt to slow the game However once again the introduction of Connelly turned things in our favour. After hitting one shot just wide he then in an attack soon after on 83mins he swivelled on an old sixpence and hit ball into corner of net and then ran to celebrate with Saints fans behind the goal. Even better things for Saints on 89 mins when Kelvin's free kick was headed in by Fonte to beat the keeper, in a simlar manner to Rochadle's first goala against us the other week, he then ran right across running track minus shirt to join Saints fans in their celebrations. The referee then added 6 or 7 mins injury time most due to Brighton's time wasting however Saints held on, assisted by the absence of the ball boys, to gain a great and really vital victory NB seems strange that like the MK Dons home game the side that has time wasted has benefited from extra time, still who cares we keep winning and now 3 wins from 4 will be enough and if Huddersfield slip up at Brighton next week even two wins might be enough

Been told by ticket office tickets being sent out tomorrow They recieved loads more applications than tickets availble, four buckets full of apllications before game on Saturday alone, so unless you've been a regular at away games, our average is around 1400 you could well miss out
-
Brighton tickets are being sent out on Wednesday according to Ticket Office

Nice behavior from Orient fans in their Family Stand, what a good example the parents are setting for thier kids
-
If we can get 20,000 + it would be a good crowd for a midweek game IMO especially as Charlton will probably only bring 500

Palace at Ipswich too so yet more in and around Liverpool St Station area

It's Seperate Block within regular stand -
Definately a ballot for this game, Brentford will be too according to Sarah Draper in ticket office
-
After that result although hoping for win, i'd be happy with a point tomorrow to put us third, with 2 games in hand over Hudddersfield and one in hand over Perterbro

Won there 3-1 on Boxing Day 1977/78 the year we last got promoted
-
shamewe are not able to aktake the same numbers to away games now as we did for those three games 8,000 at Fulham on a Friday night, 10,000 at Luton and 12,000 at Orient on a tuesday night. Those certainly were days to remember My Dad was at Orient for Promotion in 1965/66, I was at all of those three games mentioned above, and my lad will be at Rochdale and Plymouth and hopefully will complete a family treble of seeing Saints gettting promoted We will easily sell out all our remaining away games apart from Rochdale, but hopefully we can get at least 1,500 up there as it's in the easter school holiday

No engineering works on cIrcle line which is line to Leyton, Waterloo and CIty line or Jubilee line from Waterloo to Stratford so any works shouldn't effect majority of Saints fans http://www.tfl.gov.uk/livetravelnews/planned-works/calendar/default.aspx

Guy with Hugh Fisher is Ray (Reggie) Betts from London Saints who wouldn't take it well being likened to Terry Hurlock Although he never played for Saints he has played in goal for London Saints in a town near Prague in 1990's when the posters around town advertised the game as the Local town v Southampton so in a way you could say he's played for Saints !

Been told by ticket office manager that there will be a ballot for Tickets for both Brighton and Brentford

Is there any 'successor' of D.Luker at the Club?
oldsarum replied to Moscow Saint (Zhezlov)'s topic in The Saints
Sarah Draper is now in charge -
Not certain, but I think the 2500 is the total allocation initially available of right. I do wonder though if these tickets sell out quickly, whether we might be able to request addiotional tickets from Plymouth as I don't think 2500 will be enough
-
This information came from the New Ticket Office Manager who's been very reliable in the past. The confusion could be that we initailly received an allocation of 1000 ticket which may be near to selling out, hence not many tickets left, but what the general ticket office staff are maybe not aware of is that we can get another 1500 tickets
-
absolute boll*x just spoken to ticket office and this is not the case at all only a few tickets sold so far
-
Plymouth who have a much smaller squad than us have to play 48 hors earlier too !
-
because they will get a bigger crowd on Bank Holiday and they need all the money they can get at the moment Also we wil benefit as we will take at least 2,500 fans on Monday, especially as it's last away game of season but would be less for midweek
-
That's correct but it doesn't take account of the fact that we've played more away games in that period than any other team. As you say you can prove anything with figures
