  1. So much for the American justice system where political expediency means more. The land of the free and the untouchable. The Republicans should be ashamed of themselves but they won’t give a stuff. Nasty party supporting a nastier president.
  2. Maybe he did go to a library but they didn’t show how he dealt with that problem. Not everybody is computer literate. I am glad that you know people who are happy with the system. There seem to be a great many who are not.
  3. Only watched the second half. The Ings goal was the best birthday present ever. We seemed to fold after that. Gutted.
  4. The BBC have just started a series on Universal Credit which is worth a look. Strange that they featured a homeless guy last night who was going through the process but it didn’t show how he managed to claim without having obvious access to a PC. Another minor moan. These are public buildings, often you have to wait there for long periods of time. There are toilets for the staff but none for public use. Not great if you are desperate whilst waiting to see someone. What you also didn’t see last night was the security men walking the floors. Perhaps they wanted people to think the offices are all warm and friendly.
  5. Deal with the root causes and perhaps stop dropping bombs in the Middle East? These attacks only started when we ramped up military intervention. Islam has been around for thousands of years, Islamic fuelled terrorism on our streets is a relatively recent thing.
  6. Funny that Batman doesn’t get all worked up about certain members of the press being excluded from a Government briefing, especially given that he is so for democracy and all that.
  7. The bottom line is, no matter what you think of Muslims or foreigners, we all have to share the planet and find a way of living together. This constant round of blood letting on the streets is not going to end until we take some responsibility too. Just saying it is a Muslim problem and they need to sort it out isn’t going to work. We have a new PM who says he is going to energise Britain. Perhaps he can start by finding a way of engaging with radical elements who want to kill us that doesn’t involve just shooting them dead or locking them up. The current plan is to lock them up for longer. All that does is delay the inevitable. Perhaps the government needs to do more in understanding why this is happening on our streets and what they can do to prevent it in the first place. Things don’t happen in a vacuum.
  8. How do you know this? Because you read it in the papers? Makes you an expert on their family situation. When you say he wasn’t stopped from doing it, don’t you think that being arrested for terrorist activities stopped him from doing it? Do you know what part his parents/family played in the arrest?
  9. Are you saying that Muslims mothers don’t feel the loss of there sons the same way any other mother would? According to the reports she was “devastated.” You sound more like Batman everyday.
  10. So that is worse than condemning them without knowing anything about them. Our prisons are full of murders, rapists, theives. Should we bang up their parents too for letting their children get that way? If his family have connections to ISIS or encouraged him anyway I am sure that will be dealt with. So far that doesn’t seem to be the case.
  11. How would you feel if that was your son? They will have to live with the shame. The only upside is that he didn’t manage to kill anyone.
  12. Listen to yourself. What do you know of that family other than they are Muslims?
  13. How do you know what happened I’m that family? Did you share a house with them? How would you feel if a child of yours ended up like this? Are you saying it was their fault?
  14. I know you are taking the ****, but it is sad. It is sad for all involved, including his parents who must be devastated and will have to live with this for the rest of their lives. How would you feel if you were them? Still, one less Muslim to worry about, eh?
  15. Grealish needs to be on the list for his choice of hairstyle alone.
  16. 20 years old. What a waste of a life. Who knows what goes through these people’s heads? Apparently he was obsessed with dying for the cause so it makes little difference when he was released. If he was that adamant though it does make you wonder why there isn’t a mechanism for over riding the release process. Not only would it be safer for society, it would also have saved this person from himself. Perhaps a longer spell in captivity and better rehabilitation would have helped him turn a corner? The bottom line though is that none of these people should be let out while they still pose a threat to society.
  17. What is the problem with bringing in a young player with a view to looking at his potential for the future? We are not spending a fortune on him and if he does turn into a decent player it will have been worth a punt.
  18. I am off to the newsagents. Apparently there is an offer for a free Union Jack Brexit tea towel in the Mail. Yay.
  19. This thread isn’t just supposed to be about Fox. Years ago I used to get irritated by the likes of Glenda Jackson and Billy Bragg banging on about their political beliefs, though to be fair to them Jackson did become an MP and Bragg has been as much a political activist as singer/songwriter. More recently Katie Hopkins has transformed herself from would be Apprentice to rent a gob and was doing financially very well out of it until she overstepped the mark in spectacular fashion and bankrupted herself in the process. She was also brilliantly set up recently where she accepted an award from C.U.N.T. and buried herself in the most damning way in her acceptance speech. With any luck that will be the final nail in her career coffin. Sadly though there will always be someone to take her place. Perhaps it will be Fox?
  20. You are assuming that if they go they will be replaced externally. Isn’t the “Southampton Way” about bringing the youngsters through?
  21. Hey Tommy and welcome. This is a surprisingly optimistic post. We will soon knock that out of you!
  22. Trial. No witnesses. How does that work?
  23. Fair enough. Deal.
  24. I know what you mean Trousers and normally I wouldn’t bother with it. However it keeps winning awards and I can’t get my head around it’s popularity. Not only that, it is on the B.B.C. so I am paying for it!
