You really don’t think that, if Corbyn stood down the day before the election, we wouldn’t all hear about it? It would be all over social media, tv, radio in no time.
-
This would be the same Prime Mimister who said that this was not a national emergency at the weekend?
-
I have a cunning plan. The day before the election Corbyn stands down and Keir Starmer becomes leader of the Labour Party. The right wing press won’t have enough time to print slurs, slanders and blacken his name. He will revitalise the Labour vote overnight and blow the odious Johnson and his right wing chums out of power. Job done.
-
Just watched Johnson’s very bizarre party political broadcast. As usual, we had the tag line Get Brexit Done (which apparently can be done in the microwave) and Unleash Britain’s Potential. According to a statistical report on the BBC the other day 8 out of 10 Brits work in the service industry. Less than 1 in 10 work in manufacturing. So can we expect our post EU economical revival to be carried on the back of baristas, civil servants, nurses etc?

Not sure that he the final say on signings. He did say he was involved in the process though.

I think you are giving me far to much credit. There are those who trigger far more than I do. I just trigger my stalker and a few of his ilk. They tend to be of a right wing persuasion too, so that tells you something.

Blair? No thanks.

Unfortunately you are probably right. I just hope that those in the middle who are usually apathetic and turned off by politics in general get off their backsides and vote. We are very good in this country of letting the gobby ones get their way while we just sit back and moan about them. The Tories have caused this country no end of misery over the last decade and we have a golden opportunity to do something about it. Sadly we have become a nation of turkeys voting for Christmas, as Brexit proved. I am not overly hopeful that we aren’t just going to sit back and watch the country get taken over by those of far right persuasion.
-
Whereas the lurch to the right by your party is fine and dandy? Your lot are just the Brexit party/ UKIP with lipstick on.

Same swamp. Different day.

Lord Duckhunter and Lord Farage.

Knighted for standing for all that makes the country look small minded, insular and arrogant? Sounds about right.
-
Wasn’t the claim that the reason Puel, Pellegrini and Hughes all struggled put down to the squad?
-
Weren’t we told that they were all troublemakers and better off out of the squad? Are we now saying these players weren’t the problem and Ralph was?
-
Judging by the hardliners Tories on here, the moderates are not proper Tories and good riddance. Theresa May said not all that long ago that they were in danger of turning into the Nasty Party. Looks like she was spot on.

Still not dead in a ditch though.

If there was a falling out, why does it have to be of Hasenhuttl’s making? Couldn’t it have been of Rohl’s making?
-
It looks like we expected to shift out the dead wood quite easily and as it transpired, that wasn’t the case.

Romeu has been good. We were happy with him when he first joined us. Wanyama used to come in for a lot of stick at times.
-
To paraphrase Pete Townsend. Meet the new swamp, same as the old swamp.

Apart from the fact that her weight has nothing to do with anything, she has been called far worse things than just fat.
-
Ralph looks like he has lost faith in his ability to get through to the players. It doesn’t look good.

Business person doesn’t want to give money away shock horror. The personal abuse on here is appalling. How do you think her father would feel about it? We are all frustrated about the state of the team at the moment but name calling isn’t going to change anything. As for her business dealings and motivations, I always find it amazing how much people think they know when in reality they don’t have a clue.

Sheffield United are currently 5th. Something to think about.

Remembering when we last won at home.
