I have never enjoyed the spectacle of grown men gathering together shaking their pitchforks and demanding someone looses their job. It is down to the Board to hire and fire managers, quite rightly. God forbid the fans have a say in these matters. If the Board get it wrong, they have to live and deal with the consequences, but that is what they are there for. Once again Dalek, you have been banging on about relegation as long as we have been back in the Premiership. If, years ago, you had said we will go down in 2018 (and that is on the assumption that we do) I would hail you as a genius. As it is you are just another Alpine. I am one year away from being an OAP, so a few years younger than Paxman. When I was 18 you only went to University if you were the brightest of the bunch. None of my peers went to Uni. Not one person here knows what when on behind the scenes. We believe that there was an attempt to sign Walcott and when that failed we turned our attention to Promes. His club apparently wanted the money up front and or wanted a replacement before he left so wouldnt let him go.
