At that age the first few yards are in the Zimmer frame.

From what I recall he didn't turn up for the shoot. I might be wrong, but I wouldn't read too much into it.

According to your logic, doesn't this make you a far right apologist? Perhaps you have a relative who is a member of the KKK? -

Perhaps you should move to Charlottesville. You'd be right at home there. -
Are you sure? Several players are on £120k per week and Coutinho was upped to £200k but no one else is close. Can't see them paying him that when Lovren is only on £65k.

That "fair few" being you and Batman. And perhaps the reason that people cant be bothered to discuss it here anymore is because they have had it with your unfettered racism? -

I think the fee and wages would be more of a problem than him being English.

I think you have answered your own question!

By not coming out and reacting to Team Dijk's statement the Board have left them no where else to go. Smart move. As for VVD being ambitious, what more could you do than help your country win one of the two major trophies on offer? By throwing his toys out of the pram and not giving himself a chance to be match fit for his country, he is not showing ambition. He is showing that he is only in it for himself. I don't doubt that he has been led down this path by the tw*ts who advise him, but if he cant see that he is getting very bad advice, more fool him.

Nail on head! We have been victims of our own success. We are only in this predicament because we have produced or found so many quality players. I know which club I'd rather be. Long may it continue!
-
Everyone here needs to read this. I know that common sense does not often prevail, but let's give it a go. A refreshingly good read amongst the usual doom and gloom.
-
Why is he devalued? We only need to sell if we are happy with the offer.
-
Perhaps wait until after the game before wetting the bed though?

Slag off players for being disloyal. Slag off players for being loyal. Gotta love this place.
-
Given that the manager has said that we are working on new signings, the answer to that question would be no.
-
Davis is the Club Captain isn't he?
-
So you have something that others want that is valuable to both of you and you decide to sell because it doesn't make sense to keep it anymore. Why would you give it away cheaply when you know you can get more for it? Thank **** you're not in charge of the club.
-
Criminal? Blimey, 6:33 and you are on the drama pills already. As for highlighting something to worry about at the club, isn't that what you spend your days doing? Here's a tip for you. Why not wait until the transfer window closes and then you can moan and ***** all you like about what has actually happened, rather than just what is going on in your head.

Why would we "appear" desperate, honeybuns? If the Board decide that the situation is "beyond salvageable," which would become apparent if he is made available at some point soon, I don't get what is "desperate" about making a pragmatic decision. We still hold the cards and will sell at a price that will suit us. We can keep him until January or the following window if we want. We are clearly not desperate to sell him, even if he does go in the end. Can you really see us selling him on the cheap?
-
You said that we were appearing desperate to get rid of him. Are we really, flower?
-
In what way are we "appearing so desperate to get rid?" That is vastly different to selling him if our valuation is met, which is what Tom28 is saying. Why do people constantly twist every situation at SFC to try and show the Board in a bad light? As far as I can see so far, no one has said that we will not be selling anyone in this window. They have said that they don't have to sell and don't plan to sell. Things change. VVD strop may well have changed minds. We really don't know but the bedwetters have already made up their minds. It is the Board's job to do the best for SFC. Often that doesn't meet with the pleasure of some people on an internet forum. Good. If he goes, he goes on our terms and it is laughable to think that we will just give him away. FFS some of you need to grow a pair and wait and see what happens until you get the plastic sheets out. Life will go on if he stays or he goes. And as for being desperate to get rid, he is a quality player and there will be plenty of clubs after him if he is officially put up for sale.

Perhaps Liverpool should just cut out the middle man and buy him themselves. They will save themselves a fortune!

Cant beat a bit of Monty Python when things are slow!

I have it on good authority that Virgil is unhappy with the quality of posters on Saints internet forums and wants more positive posters brought in if he is going to stay.
