Yes but the world wide stage is for the likes of United, City, Chelsea etc. I doubt if we sell many shirts abroad. So the debt is to the Leibherrs? So she has been putting the businesses money in then?

I really don't think it is a plan to keep replacing players. It just happens because other clubs want them and because their contract are running down to the point where, if they aren't going to sign a new contract we are better off selling rather than letting them go later for nothing. I am sure they would much rather keep the likes of Mane and Wanyama. But the club have to live in the real world. We are not alone in this. It happens to very club that has players that other teams want.

They were special for a period of time in the last century and did the country proud. You might be too young to remember the forays into Europe by Celtic, Leeds, Liverpool and Forest but we were all rooting for them in those days. How things have changed!

You can pick up a gun in a Supermarket in Washington State. That is some shopping list. Potatoes. Beans. Coffee. M16 Assault Rifle. Dum Dum bullets. Sugar.

"Limey" LOL. You crack me up. Anyway. All this keep your nose out of our business malarkey might wash if it didn't come from someone supposedly in America - a country famous for sticking its collective nose into other peoples business for decades. Not only that, they don't seem to have an qualms about blowing people away on foreign soil as well as their own. Just finishing reading about the my Lai massacre in Vietnam when a troop of very brave soldiers blew away up to 500 old men, women and children. There was one American casualty and he was shot by "friendly fire!" Don't you see the irony? Not that that makes the slightest bit of difference. We live in a very small world now and everything is everybody's business. I think you will find several of us have opinions about Putin and using Cruise missiles in Syria too. What is the world coming to?

The second goal was pure quality. Glad to see Davis getting some of the limelight now after all of his hard work.

Couldn't agree more. I am amazed that his woman has stood by him. Why would you want to marry a guy who behaves like that? I doubt very much it was the first time he was out on the pull.

Suspended by the neck would be better - though with his brass neck he wouldn't feel a thing!

“Super computer” predicts final Premier League standings
sadoldgit replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
If it were that easy to predict you could do away with games completely and let a computer predict the results each week! Who would we slag off then? The computer programmer? -

I cant blame Vic for wanting to improve his situation but you would hope he would aim higher than Spuds! -
I bet Chedster will be grateful for your continued support Hypo.

Tell me, do you wear a pointy white hood with eyes holes cut into it?

An 11 year old boy in the state of Tennessee has been arrested on suspicion of shooting dead an 8 year old girl in a row over a puppy. This on the BBC news so I suggest you complain to them St George and tell them it has nothing to do with them.

Wanyama and the St.Marys crowd ...boo or cheer ?
sadoldgit replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
Not really. Even if he doesn't he is still a Saint until he leaves the club and needs to carry on putting in a shift until then. He knows his best chance of a decent move is to knuckle down and play well for us. -
That is to help him tell his left from his right

I always thought Venice was overhyped until I went there. It is awesome. Avoid eating and drinking by the Grand Canal, the prices go through the roof! Other than that, just enjoy!

I see that the Liverpool Transfer Committee vetoed a move for Ryan before he signed for us!

I think Lampard would say he is still learning now. One of the old school who trained hard and put in extra time on honing his skills. As did David Beckham.
