So the Sky jinx hits us again. I'd be interested to see the win/loss ratio when we have been on Sky. If Gardos is no better than Yoshida then why buy him? Yoshida is just not good enough at this level and was caught knapping on the ball once or twice again last night. Didn't do a lot wrong but just looks what he is, a makeweight. Would also have liked to see Reed on last night. Don't get Mane at all. Just hope Ron manages to help him become more consistent and make better decisions. Was lucky not to get sent off last night with that stupid challenge on RVP. Wouldn't it be great to have a world class goal scorer up front? RVP got them out of jail last night. Is Mayuka better than Igrove? Watched the match with a United supporting mate last night and he was very embarrassed at the final whistle!

But would you also agree that we aren't going to be relegated? That was the consensus of many in the summer. No one thought we would finish top 4 then. We have had a really good season so far and have not disgraced ourselves against the so called top 4 teams. We looked so much better than Manchester United last night.

Forster should have done better but where was the marking? You cant just assume the keeper is going to deal with that ball and leave a player of Van Persie's class free at the far post.

Perhaps complacency is creeping in? We have given soft goals away against both City and United. Last night was very disappointing as United were awful and it was a game we should have won but not only did we make mistakes at the back, we made mistakes up front too. All to often we tried another pass instead of shooting.

How do you work that out? Assuming you are saying he would have saved from Fonte's mistake the rest of the match would have been totally different.

Odd to see Forster getting so much sh*t when Fonte let us down big time for the 1st. And what about all of the f@rting around in the box instead of shooting? We could and should have had at least three goals. We are turning into Arsenal up front, trying to walk the ball into the net.

Always thought we didn't get the best out of him.

Really thought we would get something from the last two games but that is football and we were always going to be hit with injuries/suspensions at some point. Just a shame that so many have come at once. Still, everything is relative. If we had lost to Man City and Arsenal right after Liverpool we would be over the moon right now. Just hope that the injuries are not too serious. Great season so far but it will be interesting to see how RK handles things if the midfield remains so depleted.

We tend to give away goals when he plays. Not convinced he is good enough at this level.

You cant give the ball away in those areas against a team of City's quality and not expect to get punished. Was also disappointed that we left the likes of Lampard alone on the edge of the box. Really thought that we would get something but we still have the best defensive record in the league and will play worse and win. Roll on the Gooners.

We were going to get relegated according to many on this thread in the summer. Seems that they are only happy if they can find someone or something to moan about. Up until yesterday we had only conceded 6 goals all season. We are 3rd. We were beaten by a team that has just beaten Bayern Munich. It wasn't down to Forster. Be thankful that we have a team that is up the top of the league and not fighting relegation.

Thought at half time that we had a good chance of getting something from the game until I heard Morgan was off and Yoshida was on.

They are all Premiership sides though and there are no easy games. We are where we are on merit and I for one cant wait until we play some of the so called top sides. We have nothing to fear. I think we will beat City today and I cant wait for Manure.
