  1. Redmond should be sold forthwith for being utter boar locks and for the theft of a saints shirt that clearly doesn't belong to him.
  2. I'm just the same - been waiting for this one and really enjoying the campaign mode. Definitely worth the money, in my opinion at least. Good to have old guns etc rather than bloody lasers!
  3. Might just as well have Long and Gabbiadini rather than Redmond. Redmond really doesn't offer enough with this set up to warrant playing in it.
  4. Even simple passes became a task too much for him last season - far better on the ball, but then it was good to see him keeping it simple and effective.
  5. Everton fans should have ticket refunds and expenses reimbursed. Can't stand the dugout kings, but you can't help but feel for them a bit. PEH had a great game, and nice to see him not over complicating things. Onwards and upwards let's hope.
  6. He's in the jungle at the moment so that's unlikely to happen.
  7. Not sure if both sigurdsson and Rooney will both be playing - but both can hit the target and will give FF a nightmare of an afternoon. Sadly, can see a 3-0 or worse this Sunday. I just wish I didn't feel like this.....almost feels like I'm slagging off my wife.
  8. I don't want us to go down, I just want us to be at least half entertained. As it stands, I'd rather pay my money for something other than the dross of the last year or so. I liked the lower leagues for a number of reasons, more competitive games, more honest pro's, more of a club feel rather than a corporate money-oriented feel to it all. Anyone who wants their club to go down shouldn't support them, but I want to go to games and be entertained....at least get the heart pumping a bit in the 90 minutes i'm there. I'll keep my season ticket regardless of what happens to us, as I did when we dropped down the leagues most recently. Doesn't mean I'm happy watching the turgid drivel we're being subjected to.
  9. The most annoying thing would once again hearing all those people say they didn't renew because they couldn't afford it any more, among other rubbish excuses that were used when we went down the leagues a few years ago. Just be honest and say you only want to watch PL football.
  10. Everton are around 3/1 to win. I know where my money will go this weekend.
  11. Relegation battle gives excitement, nerves, adrenalin. I don't want us to go down, but the excitement of a battle would be a welcome change.
  12. Past caring. Or getting on that way.
  13. What I can't understand in these situations is how however many thousands of us fans, plus media etc can see that we are utterly dull and an impotent attaching force playing he way we are....and yet the manager can't. In the same way we can all see that Forster is pants right now and has been for a while, and yet still plays him week in week out.
  14. When Austin has come on lately he's looked like a Sunday league player, who's won a raffle prize to appear in a competitive game. His penalties are great, but he looks fat and immobile.
  15. Just seen Schneiderlin was sent home from training last week due to lack of effort, and omitted from the squad at the weekend. His stock has fallen considerably.
  16. Anyone who can get the best out of our attacking options, and who gets the fans excited again would get my vote. I love our club but that doesn't mean I love the sh*te being served up. I honestly would rather we scored more goals and were a bit more gung-ho at the back. At least we'd be entertained and get the adrenalin flowing again. My pulse rate has been higher walking to the ground.
  17. Yes, yesterday.
  18. I've just realised.....I don't own a saints shirt or have a saints tattoo, mug, scarf....I'm no saints fan I'm just pretending.
  19. Thank god I stuck a tenner on Burnley.
  20. Very worrying. Almost as worrying as finding myself waking up on matchday and feeling generally non-plussed about the afternoon ahead.
  21. I work in recruitment (i'm afraid) and we've just had an application from the real Yoann Folly.
  22. How to brighten up a dull wet Monday. Good luck you douche.
  23. I didn't like his celebration at all - players have no respect for managers and whether MP is right or wrong to not pick him he shouldn't be reacting like that to the manager. All this "shows his passion" rubbish - no different to pundits justifying the terrible behaviour of players through crazy tackles or pushing and shoving the opposition as "showing their frustration/hunger". It's petulance, nothing more. Great goal, but infantile reaction.
  24. The chips aren't always mayonnaisier on the other side.
  25. Sorry, when I see him come on he looks like an overweight immobile striker. I'm sure when he came on against Newcastle at one point he tried to almost catch the ball. He doesn't look remotely fit enough to play. He might score a penalty but not much else.
