If they've engineered this toxic relationship to get the move, it's even more reason to keep him. It really shouldn't change the club's position on it. He's not been training with the squad for weeks anyway so how much worse can it get on a day to day basis? Food fights? Towel whipping in the showers? Someone needs to tell him to grow up and do what his contract states.

Anyone any idea how bad the restricted view seats are at Palace?? Bit reluctant to go on the beers, get there and find we're behind a post/sat below the pitch level etc etc
-
Let's just get them both!

Is that an Ali G "I"?

Bravo.

Double V D has just been having dinner with three of his entourage a few tables down from us. Took daughter over to his table after she wrote "don't go" on a knapkin. Seemed nice enough until I said he was too good to go to Liverpool. All went a bit quiet then. That virus cleared up fast.

Centre to right to centre to left to centre to right to centre to left

I'm sure there's a JWP specific thread.

Matchday hath returned.

According to BBC, no Sigurdsson on Saturday so that's a plus.

Again, I won't have a problem with him being sold as I'm sure most won't - as long as it's not to Liverpool. The sooner I see an accepted Chelsea/Citeh bid the better then we can all move on.

My old man, said be a Van Dijk fan, I said "f*** off boll**ks you're a c**t (you're a c**t)

The part that made me laugh was when he mentioned having the time, while injured and supported and paid by us, to reflect on his career and deciding he wanted to move away. While WE supported him through his injury he was busy deciding he didn't want to be at SFC any more. The cheeky ****.

Different thread no doubt, but trying to think of players who had god awful debuts but went on to be top players for us. I saw Pahars on his debut (think it was debut) at Coventry City and even though I was a nipper I thought he looked like he might be out of his depth.

Delgado is the one that will always spring to mind. Shame about the outcome!

No I'm fine thanks - 190 pages says we're all quite keen on player signings. Perhaps I more than some. I can live with that.

I feel better for having shared my inner thoughts.

Only a matter of time before we get Shhteve McLaren's thoughts on the situation then.

If the deal was right, Chelsea would be much preferred. A team that will genuinely challenge for trophies on all fronts, and the type of club he should be aiming for rather than the effing dippers.

Sounds like (and frankly is) a ridiculous thing to say, but I don't care who we sign - just sign someone with some pedigree to get the fans excited, even if it's in area we've probably got covered. Yes, I know that's not the name of the game but it'll work for me. Love a good player unveiling.

Does anyone else think that with the whole black box thing, that as a club we sometimes over-think/analyse signings/players to the point where we aren't happy to commit to someone with obvious talent, and subsequently miss out on them? Personality fit is important, but I don't think 99% of footballers are trouble makers that are going to disrupt a group or not buy in to the ethos.

Are we signing another Pole?!

You might take Ings on a pay as you play or 1 year deal but be nuts to offer anything else.
