  1. For me, Silva until season end and take stock then. Also don't want Hughes anywhere near our club in any capacity.
  2. Maybe we should follow this lot around the country instead.
  3. Feel for those who've traveled up there.
  4. Sack him, get Silva if he'd come to us. Can't believe this utter drivel.
  5. I think it should be his to lose, as it was with FF.
  6. Well, napalming would actually improve the area significantly.
  7. It's hard to fathom how the same people overseeing the club in its most boring, negative state were there when were playing some of the best football I suspect we've played as a club......and are ok with it.
  8. Fair weather alert - chosen snowmen with daughter over football. Must admit it doesn't sit right with me still!
  9. All very well it going ahead but there'll be plenty who either can't make it or won't spend hours trying to get there.
  10. BBC sport saying an update coming from SMS at 5pm today.

    VAR

For years now they've been able to look at offside decisions, ball crossed the line, penalties etc from the commentary/pundits position using normal technology. There a few examples when it's less clear cut, but football is making a proper pigs ear of it. As for rugby...and cricket for that matter, it actually makes it more interesting for a lot of spectators and really doesn't impact on the time in a game. Maybe a couple of minutes but you can't compare it to watching a three hour ad-fest like American football.

    VAR

It's amazing that football is the only sport that can mess up something really quite simple to use. Frankly pathetic that simple decisions can't be checked quickly and easy. Rugby union is a much more complex game, but they manage it easily. Has a ball crossed a line, was someone offside, was it a clear penalty...really not difficult.

    Redmond

Redmond is just a much more predictable player I would say.
  14. Have a beer with your mates, turn up at 3pm and enjoy watching football.
  15. IMO, if his assists alone keep us up he's worth the money.
  16. I'll always renew no matter how much I feel like not....it's MY seat so the thought of someone else using it is pretty unappealing.
  17. The shame being that you end up playing without a recognised striker on the pitch.
  18. Harsh, but fair.
  19. It's going to be pretty tough to stand there and listen to the garbage being sung from their lot in relation to them taking our players, plus the "walk on" sentimental bit too, if they're 3-0 after half an hour. I'm dreading listening to their fans almost as much as us possibly getting a beating.
  20. jingle
  21. Lovren pretty close to our Ads, for me.
  22. That depends on who the person is doing the accusing - a forum wouldn't be a forum if we all agreed. I like both games equally, it just so happens that I feel quite strongly about certain aspects as i'm sure we all do.
  23. You are indeed a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully you'll spend the rest of your evening finding other examples. The fact is you're still wrong. God help you if you think otherwise.
  24. To be fair you gave one excellent example of cheating in the gane of rugby, and I'm sure you have many others from this weekend that you could share if you wanted to. I don't think some rugby players aren't petulant, of course they are but in terms of a code of respect on the field the two games really can't be compared. What officials say goes, end of.
  25. Rather that stuff happen in what we all know is a physical sport, but WITH respect to officials and each other than the non stop diving, cheating, swearing at officials, spitting at each other, acting like babies, feigning injury to get players booked....shall I go on?
