The trouble with rugby is it can't seem to be played without the ref constantly shouting at the players telling them what to do all the time !!Also although the All Blacks are very good then have got away with bending the rules for years , there is a reason why they always get the ball at the breakdown !!

The offside rule needs another review as no one seems to understand it , plus using VAR , offside has been given when the feet are onside but part of the upper body has been deemed offside ! That's just a bit silly , perhaps ALL of the player should be off side like all of the ball has to be over the line . The use of VAR has become hair splitting as well as unclear , some decisions don't seem to be clear cut especially penalty shouts , this applies to rugby as well . Perhaps the penalty area could be re defined with a D replacing the 6 yard box and becoming the new penalty area .

It's the second time Mahrez has failed to move to a top six club on deadline day , he took along time to get back in the team after failing to join Arsenal .

To blame Kat is ridiculous she was left with the club after her father unexpectedly died , she has done well to keep it going even though she was not a football person . We got sold to Gao because no one else was interested , a bit like no one wanted Blackburn when the time came !

It is accepted that a low Hz voice is the best listenable style , some female voices are high register and really grate esp when they talk louder ! Also you can alter your TV etc to boost treble / bass to modify said voices.

I can't provide anymore evidence that the picture used was not of the Titanic, or anything to do with it, than i already did on this thread, and a quick google image search will show that. But hey, people want to twist that into something sinister, and then turn it up a notch with references to Apartheid or the Holocaust , Quote. It doesn't matter that it wasn't an actual picture of the Titanic sinking (apart from the fact no pictures exist of the actual sinking) but what it depicted looked like that ! also the captain went down with the ship , unlike one of the directors/owners who legged it into one of the too few lifeboats ! No it's nothing to do with the Holocaust etc but all to do with corporate manslaughter due to cost cutting , putting company profits before customers safety etc.

Perhaps the team will actually win today against all odds and all bets will be off (i wish !)

The Titanic reference has some merit ie White Star cut corners to save money , the platework was made from second grade steel to save money during construction . When it sailed from Ireland to Southampton it had a fire in a bunker adjacent to the side of the ship that sliced open when hitting the iceberg. The theory is rather than delay the voyage from Southampton they would try to deal with the bunker fire by burning as much coal as possible from this bunker . This caused damage to the outer steelwork due to the high temperature and the rest is history. But basically that's what's happened , Kat tightened the purse strings which reduced player quality and likely hood of attracting a top manager . True Koeman came but he turned out not to be a top manager ie had his favourites and not often a plan B etc. The players saw that a bigger richer club was needed to stay on the gravy train and jumped ship for whoever was going to pay them the big one to last the rest of their days. The club went from a good up and coming club to a stagnating club in slow decline who cannot pay big so can't attract top players/managers . A common feature of last nights games was dodgy decisions by linos and refs . Benteke off side for Palace equaliser , llorente way off side for Spurs first , ref bottling second yellow to spurs defender (who was then subbed) Ali diviing and not yellow carded etc perhaps it was the weather ???

It is surely difficult to decide how much info to pass on to a public forum especially when a deal has not been finalized , if it falls through or could expose your source or, in the worse case , could scupper said deal then it pays to be circumspect ! I don't think Saints will be taking either of them , Sturridge looked good when Suarez played with him but that was a while back now , since then he has been slagged off for attitude and injuries by 2 managers . Walcott had a good spell a while back then was granted his wish to play up front but squandered too many chances and got phased out plus his injuries , looked like Wenger gave him his chance and he was found wanting . He is not a 'natural' goalscorer ie given time to think he dallies then misses.
