I think Dibling has a problem, I don't think you can blame Saints for who he is .

Not sure that was the case , as I remember no one was fighting to buy Saints and Gao got 80% but had to fund it from his off shore business thanks to Xi policy change . Kat inherited Saints as well of a business portfolio of mixed quality . Marcus kept some of his businesses going , such as the printing business for nostalgia . Not good business sense . Kat shut the loss making parts down and sold Saints , a beacon of business sense in a world of mad optimism such as AI , premier rugby , most football clubs / leagues .

We need defenders who step in take the ball and move it on , the sort that occasionally get featured on Motd as quietly going about their business without fuss !!

Apparently the last manager got a few good results before being appointed , since then Swansea have 4 wins so he had to go . So interim managers should not be judged by their early results before appointment full time 😄

I'm feeling that any appointment will be underwhelming until we can defend and start scoring plus winning. All those visits to St Mary's where a draw was a relief need to be history.

I think Dibling is “on the spectrum” an individual rather than a team player . MLT was similar but in his case he did his thing and the team supported his individuality His reaction to Chelsea move shows that he was comfortable at Saints and any change would unbalance him . I would have thought Saints should have understood him for what he was . He doesn’t like to be in the spotlight , singled out , shouted at etc but given specialist coaching to bring out his talent and protect him .

I'll always be a Saints fan , it is a struggle after the last few years ! It is OK to watch other teams play especially if they are local but I'll still be a Saints fan for ever. Like Turkish says I follow teams in other leagues to see how they are doing and hope they win when I watch on TV .
