  1. Hopefully it won't be Felix Magath... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3389453/Charly-Musonda-talent-line-Belgian-midfielder-set-Chelsea-s-30th-loanee.html
  2. Man Utd away?
  3. *already posted*
  4. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/bojan-krkic-transfer-stampede-expected-7106972 According to this, Gianelli Imbula is available for £15m. Wanyama's replacement?
  5. Says it all really that Camacho is actually 25.
  6. Gardos isn't far off being fit isn't he? Caulker's been linked to Sunderland, too. Sounds like what happened with Djuricic would have to happen with Caulker, then we could sign Chambers.
  7. I can't say I'm his biggest fan, but to be fair to Neil Ashton he was saying about this in August: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3213295/Southampton-s-talent-struggling-break-Ronald-Koeman-losing-faith-prolific-St-Mary-s-academy.html
  8. Watched him against Yeovil. Played at RB, kept the opposition winger quiet for the most part despite him being nippy. Obviously not up against the most confident team in the world, but he looked solid. Definitely will be more of a CB in coming years though, in my opinion.
  9. Southampton striker opens door for Serie A return http://gazzettaworld.gazzetta.it/news/southampton-pelle-serie-a-return/?utm_content=buffer69442&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

    Good luck

That Allez Allez Allez Oh song was sang by Bournemouth fans, singing about Eddie Howe.
  11. Cheers Ant, appreciate that.
  12. I'll take that as you haven't got Twitter?
  13. Thank you very much!
  14. Hi everyone, Know this isn't Saints-related as such, but my girlfriend is currently in her final year at university, studying English Language. Her dissertation is on forum language versus Twitter Language, and is particularly interested in the subject of football, so obviously looking at language on football forums v twitter talking football is of interest. Are there any Saintsweb users that currently use Twitter to discuss football, who would be willing to put forward their twitter handle so she could make a direct comparison of the language used? If there are any questions with how it would be used, she is on Twitter herself (@Charli_LL) and her email address is langdowc@aston.ac.uk. Many thanks, GGalpin.
  15. http://www.shoot.co.uk/southampton-fans-forum-a-missed-opportunity/ My shoot column for this week, focussing on the fans forum. Any comments are helpful, positive or negative. Cheers!
  16. What was Morgan Schneiderlin like at his age? Bearing in mind the four you named before are all either very quick, or in Barkley's case, very tall and stocky. Schneiderlin is a more relative comparison, IMO.
  17. Thanks, appreciate it!
  18. http://www.shoot.co.uk/100-appearances-now-ward-prowse-must-become-a-regular-starter/ Shameless levels of plugging I know, but I've written this week's Shoot Saints blog on James Ward Prowse making his 100th appearance for Saints. Any compliments or criticisms would be really helpful, thanks.
  19. Sadly, not a lot else. That's football in the Financial Fair Play era really.
  20. he was injured for three months last season, to be fair.
  21. Been linked to a Swedish 16 year old called Rafael York, according to his agent. http://www.expressen.se/sport/fotboll/premier-league/southampton-jagar-svenske-talangen/
  22. You're able to select specific seats for away games online and on the phone like you can with home games. Could certainly do it for Chelsea.
  23. I think this is partly why the club have introduced the option to select seats at away games, so large groups can all stand in the same areas of the away section.
  24. cheers!
