Seems odd that over 10 Premier League clubs would all miss up the opportunity to sign an 18 goal striker who despite knee concerns played 35/38 games last season... even before that he had a reasonable appearance record, so the knee injury stuff doesn't quite add up. Odd.

As much as I like Cedric, this is a reason I would've really liked Kieran Trippier. Obviously it was difficult because they thought they might have kept Nathaniel Clyne, but really think he'd have fitted in well.

Good afternoon, Due to the photographic ID situation with ticket collection in Denmark, I can no longer go to the FC Midtjylland away leg. I have booked two flights for two people, and instead of wasting the £437 spent on them, I would be willing to sell them to someone else. They are with Easyjet and are flying from Manchester to Copenhagen on Wednesday 26th August 10:45, and arrive back in Manchester on Friday 28th August leaving Copenhagen at 21:45 local time, getting into MCR at 22:45. This includes four reserved seats on the plane and one checked-in bag in the hold each way Names can be changed for £140 online, but I would be willing to cover that cost and sell for around £400. I understand that Manchester may not be everyone's choice of airport for this, but I know there are a few Saints based near there so this may help. For any genuine interest, please let me know and I can sort contact details. Cheers.

Seen in the FourFourTwo season review that Saints didn't score a single counter-attacking goal last season; hopefully this will help us score a few more on the break.

Know it's been said an awful lot and is often met by groans... but it is just six years ago since Saints were on the verge of bankruptcy. Any Saints fan would have snapped their hand off in the latter noughties to be a club that was established in the Premier League and steady. There will come a point where it won't wash anymore and Saints should aim higher, but whilst the club is competing with the top six even with a financial disadvantage compared to the top seven whilst being sensible with the money, the very recent past should be remembered. Saints have come an awful long way in a short space of time, and instead of wanting more and more, just remember what we do have now.

To pay back a club who had stood by him, perhaps? Or are all footballers money-grabbers who don't give a monkeys about anything else, to you...?
