Some teams above us have spent 200k only. Does that make there manager good too or would you say they are miracle workers compared to the millions we have spent. I have been the most positive saints fan all season but in the last month I see the signs of a struggling team which is getting worse.

Yeah that's a mystery why he can't get the boro playing at all. Maybe it will take alittle more time to do so. To prove my point on good managers today, if Paul Lambert went to Boro I bet you a good £100 that he would turn it around within a month, some have the knack. Back to AP, with the amount of money we have spent you would of thought we would be ****ing it with the quailty of players we have. Why are we struggling in the last 6 games as we have only just managed to beat Tranmere/Wycombe and Luton.

I'm trying to workout where I would add AP as a good manager. I will refer to a couple of points, Paul Lambert of Norwich is taking his team to the top, he was in charge of Colchester who thumped Norwich 7-1. Since he took over Norwich they have become a very good team, they even got revenge over Colchester by beaten them 5-0. Another good manager is Owen Coyle and Sean O'Driskell (Doncaster manager) These guys are great coaches that IMPROVE players. So where does AP fit in? Does he improve players or does he try to buy success? I'm trying to work out which players are better now then when Pardew took over as I know that WGS improved each player throughout.

Its all about chess. You dominate the centre four squares and the rest will look after itself, we have lost that recently which allows other teams to carve us open easily.

I don't understand how this deal can ever go ahead? Doncaster know we have money and I'm guessing here, a three million price tag is not going to come down because we want it too. NEXT?

I understand your point about the building for next season but we had a manager telling us we must chase that playoff spot. 4 games ago we was 7 points off it, but now we are a million miles off it with some very lame performances it must be said. I would even say the Leeds result should of gone our way if we set the team out to scare the opposition more.

Hey Mikey your Ward ones was half funny during the week but I'm afraid this time you have overstepped the mark. double sigh as its not funny one bit now.

I read during the week that Pardew said this is a must win game, please explain how you can have two attacking players on the bench and believe me these two guys can score goals in this league. So what's the point of wanting a new striker if you don't use what we have already? My next point is when we score in the 92nd minute of injury time, why not get the management team to focus as well by getting a sub on to run the clock down even more while the players get there breaths back from the wild celebrations. While I'm having a moan we had a bloke that has not played longer than 30 minutes in a game all season and yet he stayed on until the end puffing and panting according to the radio, they said he should of been hauled off with 20 minutes to go. Why not??

It's okay being above them but as for trophies we have one F A cup compared to there 7 odd major trophies. I think it's time to keep quiet myself.

Nothing on the Danns front it seems. So the club never came back with a 2nd offer it looks like and as for Danns he went to Liverpool to see his family because of the palace game getting called off. I still think this one deal is running with Stock.

It's sad that the officail SFC Twitter is going to say new signing revealed at 9am and you will hear it with us first. They need to act quicker because I love the surprise of the unexpected.

You could be right there although I still reckon Thursday could be possible. Btw at no point did I ever suggest I knew the destination and time of the players return, I was making a point that it was unlikely anything tonight regarding a new signing!

First up I expect the players and the management team are training in Spain this morning as you would not leave first thing after staying the night. So let's say the flight gets to Soton late afternoon, we then have talks and medicals which would suggest some news late tonight or early Weds morning. It's gonna be a long wait guys!

The breakdown I got was we agreed a deal with Palace on Thursday and Danns had talks on Saturday morning which he refused our first offer that meant he missed the trip. Since then I have no idea but I'm guessing he is waiting for the 2nd offer like Fonte did (if that snippet was true which I read on here)

Had us down for a defeat. What utter ****e!!!
