Starting to worry about Ings as his sharpness is slowly fading. Thought at the start of the season our signings were good enough but it’s clear it’s not clicking?

I’m pretty impressed with Derby and Arsenal this season and it’s no coincidence they have new managers. I know we are not going to get rid of Reed and the other muppets but at least shift Hughes on. Cant remember the last time I watched a game and proudly walked out being impressed with my team. The football Arsenal played the other night was breathtaking and it’s all because they got rid of that dinosaur Wenger.

You would think we will win but I just can’t see it. So many ****e teams that have visited St Mary’s in the last two years have avoided defeat. This is going to be another one.

Some fantastic comments on here and I just wish sacking Hughes was the answer. Puel, Pellegrino, Hughes.... The list of useless managers will go on because the foundations are all wrong. IMHO We have some cracking young individual players coming through the youth ranks and we need to focus on getting them into the first team squad with a management team that will educate them further.

VVD, Davis and Bertrand.... However the last two have gone stale and should of been sold and replaced by better players. That’s how you drive a club forward.

It is new because another one of our great signings found themselves on the bench. When Danny Ings can’t get in the team anymore then it will be raised again.

Why not add Gunn to the list as he’s not playing either although he is a class act.

Very slow indeed. Against Wolves he was roasted 3 times in 5 minutes and each time he brought the player down. Never even got booked for it which surprised everyone.

And some of the players we lost are no longer commanding a place in their respective first teams.....! VVD, Tadic and Mane are certainly starting every week.

What puzzles me is the likes of Stephens, Romeu, McQueen, Gunn, Yoshida and Bednarek are not getting any game play whatsoever. One, why are they not playing for the under 23’s which is basically the young kids. Second, how do they get match fit? Third, how do they knock on the managers door to say they can do a job for the first team? Ps I know they will probably play tonight in the cup match but the whole team are hardly going to put in a performance if it’s their first game in 4 odd weeks?

Bingo. No way in a million years would Ali be anywhere near the England team if he join us instead of Spurs.
