Thats probably spot on. Starting to read that some fans think he will be off if he turns us around into a top 10 club. Too right and that means the club will continue moving in the right direction if the next appointment is right.

Finally got a manager in that will make me super proud to be a Saint again. A chance of beating a top 6 club, get spoken about on the TV and radio more plus have our youngsters turning out for the first team like they did under Poch. Exciting times and well done all those that have made this happen. If Mitchell was to arrive after his notice is seen out then our plans in the next two years will be even more exciting.

Thats my feeling too, however if we win then I fear Hughes stays on as manager and if we lose against United too then he’s toast surely?

Interesting reading an article about Bertrand and Cedric. The reason why they are singled out as being useless and don’t care is because they are no longer attacking full backs because (1) The cover is shocking so they have to stay back more often. (2) The players ahead of them don’t allow them to have the confidence to bomb forward as they lack the killer pass to set them free. (3) They are not really defensive defenders but more as wingbacks. Our systems is not suited for them. Bertrand would be better suited in a Manchester City format while Cedric in Barca’s according to the article.

How does a footballer perform to his best ability when the coaches don’t teach them properly and the confidence is rock bottom? Maybe a decent change is a good option as it’s not going to get better anytime soon.

It’s pretty obvious Mark Hughes can’t go on so the big question is who would you like and who you would hate at our club. Ideal option (1) Rodgers - Would be good for us and knows this league. (2) Big Sam - Wins matches and will breed confidence back to the fans and players. Worst option (1) David Moyes - Hate his football and he is so dull to listen too. (2) O’Neill - Has been and a massive backward step.

I thought Saints were unlucky today. Seeing signs that Hughes is turning it around as we scored two goals instead of our usual ones.

Think we need to give Hughes a chance to see if he can improve his .70 points a game for Saints.

First up it’s 10-30 to 12-30 on every time I’ve attended. No way we do 4 hours training and I doubt Liverpool do that many hours too unless you’re talking some weights, formations and media work included it that time. Our training is pretty lame compared to Strachan and Pottechino who had players vomiting on the hell Weds sessions.
