Armchair - 100% Lambert for England, I screamed the bloody house down. The Armstrong one was class too as he just burst through and slammed home the winner. I was going crazy in the chocolate boxes.

As we have a boring International break it’s nice to think of the good things in the past. (1) Le Tissier vs Arsenal in the last game at the dell. What a strike and a fantastic pitch invasion too. (2) Pahars vs Everton in the great escape. That was a relief and an amazing atmosphere that day. (3) Gabby’s equaliser vs Utd at Wembley as the noise was electric afterwards. (4) Crouch last minute penalty vs the skates. Think I sang Harry and Jim for a fortnight. (5) The Channon wonder goal where it was ping pong through a good Liverpool side. The one goal I wished I was there but was too young - Stokes at Wembley, Never gave us a chance but we rolled them over

Could Hughes get half of what Pellegrino got?

Can he play centerback?

Seems like we win more away in the cups and the league than we do at home? Is this because our fans get on the players backs at home or is it because the away supporters are drowning out our very own and the players are not feeling the support from the terraces? I personally think we play a different system where we get hit on the break too often as we feel it's our duty to push for goals urgently. Thoughts?

Fantastic version of the Robbie Williams song. I believe Milan tried to sue the producer after he did not like the lyrics involving him. Not heard anything since from the producer of the song, anyone know?

Dammit we’ve won. Nothing to moan about and probably a quiet forum for the week.
-
Thats good, we won’t lose by too much then.
-
It’s probably written in bold on his contract. You will start every game even if your crap.
-
Thats the problem then as he lives with a nagging wife who sends him to work in a foul mood
-
You need to be happy in life when going to work. Gabby has a new young wife living in Italy and it’s pretty obvious he misses her while living in a shi.te place.

Been alittle suspect during pre season and against Leicester however he was breathtaking last season. IMHO Gunn is a fine keeper to bring in if McCarthy drops off even more.
-
Its that exactly. Cant remember the last player that has improved since signing for Saints. We are no longer improving players and that’s going right down to the youth players too. I will list a few: Romeu - getting worse Lemina - One good game in 20 Redmond - Exciting at Norwich, not so much now. Hoedt - Total pants Bertrand - Going backwards quickly Gabby - Nothing like the person we signed.

Think they are all being saved for plan B which is the championships.
-
Totally spot on. I think our home and away support is pretty good considering the amount of goals we score. I was thinking only this morning how many times we have scored more than one goal a game and I could only think of Bournemouth and Arsenal. Then I tried to remember the last time we tonked someone ha ha.

This same issue comes up every year and still nothing is done about it. I would love to know one club in the premiership that gives the away supporter almost half of the goal end where they have its main singing stand next to it. It would be great to merge the northam, kingsland and Itchen behind one goal as it would help us out drown any away support.
-
I’m not so sure though. A Leicester player clipped his foot 30 yards before he reached the penalty area.
-
He will be busy taking diving lessons at the quays
-
Totally agree with you, Problem is we do nothing about it other than run a thread on a forum. If this was West Ham or Liverpool you would have fans trying to rip his head off or at least organising a proper march in the streets. We are all bloody softies that continue to spend stupid money and supporting this shower of sh.ite.

And then what stick an advert in the Sun advertising for someone else? Goa needs to make a decision and he knows **** all about football.
-
After watching it about 20 times it's difficult to see if the officials got it right. It was almost identical to this incident which also resulted in a penalty.
-
Totally spot on with your comments. Teams are beginning to work us out these days as we will huff and puff but we really don't have that much going forward. Some sweet triangle passes today and some good interlink play with Redmond and Bertrand but everything else is scrambled. I'm totally puzzled how you would play two small strikers against two large centre backs today plus float in 12 corners for Leicester to knock away every time. Leicester also played with small strikers against our tall defenders but you never saw them float balls in? Tactically it was pants today.

This.... However we will not replace Hughes unless he walks.
-
Matters not who you bring in. So many things are wrong with this club at the moment and you really need to start at the very top. The owner - What the **** are you doing with this club as nobody knows including the board it seems. Ralph - Do me a favour as the guy should be a millions miles away from the club. Les Reed - His time is up, It's time to move on or retire. Someone needs to buy the club off Gao and install his own football people in and stick with a structure that will work for all of us. Once you've done that then get a decent manager with a good track record in the premiership.
