When you think about our two full backs, they really play as wingers. IMHO Taggart and Valery are not great wingers but Valery is improving for sure. Maybe we have no position for Bertrand anymore because of the way RH likes to set the team up? If Taggart did get injured then he would either use Johnson (massive gamble) or what he did when Valery went off but to the left flank instead.

Exactly all this but I still hope we strengthen on Thursday if the correct players become available.

Very underwhelming. IMHO If you want your first choice targets then you should pay top dollar for them.

If Burnley was to get him then it would come down to offering the player more wages than we have. Although we both would of agreed a 35k salary and if a club feel they are losing out then they will offer more money to the player. This is the part where we will stay on a price and not shift.
