A player signing a 6 year contract gives them guarantees of course but those that are not so driven can become complacent perhaps? What does it matter that VVD signed his long contract because he would still go for ** millions even if he had 2 years left. Shane Long, Fraser Forster, Redmond, JWP, and Tadic to name a few have taken a mega step back in ability and effort on the pitch in recent months and maybe they lack that hunger and fight anymore?

Agree with what you are saying but I would expect Pellegrino wanted to bring his own coaching staff but it was declined. Cortese in his interview yesterday loved Pottychino and backed him by bringing in 3 other staff members with him. I bet our current manager goes home moaning at his wife about the current staff around him but his hands are tied by Reed and co.

Again I think the young players are good enough but not being coached properly. You put a promising youngster with Thiery Henry or Norman Hunter for 6 months and I see which one brings them through the best?

Think it's time the owners/chairman/Reed whoever, needs to take a serious look at our club and the way it's going forward right now. Is it the formations? The coaching staff? Problem scoring goals at any level? IMHO we should be contacting top ex premiership pro's and getting them on board to work with Pellegrino and offloading some of the rubbish we are currently employing.

You're right, we have too many bad eggs together that is killing the half decent ones that can play. Are the management staff able to improve them on the training ground? That lies the problem because I dont think they do.

Look Forster is ****ing **** and has been for a while now. Its going to cost Pellegrino his job soon if he does not replace this useless tub of lard from his duties of trying to impersonate a goalkeeper. The only reason I can think of why he is selected is because he must not be conceding any goals in training. But saying that I reckon I could perched my budgie on our goal line and he would not concede with our lame attacking force.
