Has he? He was more than decent at Lyon, looked very good for Burnley but struggled at West Ham and had a serious injury.
-
More worried about the lack of CB cover than Cornet playing upfront. The other two strikers we signed seem useless so why not. Shame there's no Lallana but maybe as it's an away game against a quick side he wants the extra protection with Ugochukwu.
-
Sadly the days of the Koeman era are long gone.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Cornet come in for Fraser but other than that I'd keep the team the same. Archer badly needs a goal.
-
He goes way too OTT. He's always shouting in anticipation whenever a shot comes in, only for it to end up 30 yards wide.
-
You'll do well to find an affordable keeper who is very good with the ball at his feet and someone who is a very good shot stopper. You're looking at the beat keepers in the world like Allison and Ederson etc. The fact we have one who is a very good shot stopper and is ok with the ball at his feet is the best we can hope for.

A draw wouldn't be a bad result but then it's Arsenal away which is a loss. Very hard to see where we are going to win a game. Everton at home is our best chance I guess.
-
My point was more in terms of we spent £22m and recouped nothing yet our attack has got worse..
-
Also yet again Martins subs made us worse. Recurring theme.
-
Can someone tell me how we spent £22m on two attackers who are actually worse than Adams who we let leave on a free? Absolute negligence from the club yet again
-
With Bournemouth and Arsenal away up next you do feel this is a huge, huge game. Get a win here and a point at Bournemouth and things won't look quite so bad.
-
Yes RM has a lot more credit in the bank than NJ but IF we lose the next two games I believe it'll be our worst start in Premier League history. Not good PR for Russ.
-
Adams scores again for Torino...
-
Ramsdale; Sugawara, THB, Bednarek, KWP, Downes, Lallana, Fernandes; Dibling, Cornet, Archer/BBD.
-
Only thing you would say about that is a lack of any real pace on the forward positions. I liked the look of Cornet tonight. Put some promising balls into the box but no decent striker on the end of them.
-
Surprised more wasn't made of it. Certainly didn't look like Young got the ball despite claiming he did.
-
On paper we have a great keeper, a reasonable defence, a decent midfield but a really poor forward line (Dibling being the exception). Personally I would give BBD a go up top. Looks poor out wide but could cause a few problems down the middle.
-
Could we not play Downes, Fernandes and Lallana against Ipswich?
-
Underrated player in my opinion. Rarely puts a foot wrong when he gets the chance to play.
-
Easily the two worst teams in the league.
-
BBD is hopeless. More wasted money.
-
This is an Everton side in dire straits, extremely low on confidence and instead of going for it we are passing it around on the edge of our own box creating very little indeed.
-
There was one moment at the end of the half where Ugochukwu played a very nice quick pass around the corner to set up a chance for Cornet. I bet RM was fuming he didn't play the way he was facing.
-
Lacks pace, any ability to hold the ball up, doesn't win headers, can't seem to convert chances against better opposition. Not sure why we keep persevering with someone who is never ever going to be a premier league player.

Adam Armstrong is pretty crap, isn't he?
