You were doing so well, then you go and ruin it. Happy New Year DT
-
It would be both. They worked together really well and would be a massive boost. I know we have to suck it up a bit but he has the talent and PL experience to get some goals
-
Im not sure how long Ankersen left Brentford but they seem to still find decent players
-
Probably be better to spend the money on Brightons scouting team, Im sure others will. Said the same about Brentford 2 years ago. Its not about black boxes but having shrewd judges who can see the potential

I think we were linked to Berge last season. If only the scouts have taken my idea of Ivan Toney when he was at Peterborough, I also mentioned Todd Cantwell who had only played a couple of cup games at that stage. Hs career has faltered but still a decent player. Under the wrong boss. What about Matt Grimes at Swansea he struck me as a leader and a decent player

Crikey, the author of this thread certainly has got the response he wanted. There are 11 pages, most of the stuff he has ever started have only ever got 2 or 3 replies. Well done

Why change that badge!! It is famous

Don't worry most on here couldn't catch a ball let alone try and stop one at the pace a modern footballer can hit a shot at.

Much of this is valid. Personally, I'm not that sad that Ralph has gone as he just seemed to make some odd decisions and must have perplexed the players. As was posted online last week, our model doesn't work in the Championship. IMO SR have used our beloved club as an experiment, whilst I truly hope they somehow get us out with survival, can we forever rely on teams coming up that are worse than us? (this season it doesn't seemed to have happened.

McCarthy is that keeper. Sadly he like many others is vilified on here. He made many match winning saves in games in the past, also in games when our league position was in peril.

was it more expensive ticket to have the seat facing backwards

I heard Southgate on the radio this morning and interestingly he said 'some havent progressed as he though they would' You could point at all the ones left out in that, but truthfully JWP is the same player he was 5 plus years ago. He has been unlucky playing in poor sides with fairly negative tactics, if Henderson was at Saints and JWP at Liverpool we know who would be picked
-
Not a great fan of Saints or JWP not sure which one he means

Will there be any anti-Jones protests at the game tonight?

MB it was a sad day when your time travelling took you away from postings of half clothed young maidens -
Sad for him, but truthfully he is too safe, His creativity with through balls and setting up chances is poor. The hype about his free kicks got to him a bit. I was also alarmed when he said in an interview he rarely practised them!! As with Redmond, perhaps he has lost his game a bit after following RH orders and his pattern of play. I hopeNJ releases him a bit to play a bit more freely

To be fair we only need a 10 goal a half season striker
-
Most are not in his particular squad though!!!

What did Puel do for us? 'Well, a cup final that we should have won' 'Yes, yes, a cup final, but what did Puel do for us?' 'An 8th place finish' 'Ok Ill give you that, 8th place and I would tear your arm off for that, but what did Puel do for us?' 'Beating Liverpool home and away in a semi final, never likely to happen ever again' 'yes, yes, but we didn't win any of the last home games, and couldn't score. We did miss a couple of penalties in those 0-0's though.' 'Umm, he couldn't do a post-match interview to make us laugh.' 'Well I doubt you could if you were speaking in a native language'

To be fair we dont know if he will be a major success. Iam not over the moon, but is he worse than an unknown form Europe. If he was Enrique Jones no doubt he'd get a thumbs up -
I think NJ's problem is that the fans are underwhelmed already and so he has to start well or he's / we are in bother
-
Thank you for that, it gives more context to the bit you put up. Hence the laughing emojies you received. I cannot see where he is wrong in that, and totally understand his frustration. The same frustration we all feel, whether a fan of him or not. RH played a dogged pattern of play that made us rarely on the front foot and not allowing us to really break out quickly. I do hope you also agree with my thoughts on that

I know the owner is a billionaire, but it wasn't announced it was a billion lira

I find it hard to believe that Redmond just said "Did I actually do anything" ( your quote) there must have been more than that, surely? It made it conveniently amusing for the anti Redmond crew, but to me I feel that quote was taken out of context. As I haven't read the article I cant be sure of course. And yes fans like yourself have affected my enjoyment as you made it unpleasant for him to play
