Just listened to the VVD interview on BBC podcast, apparently he came back in August and gave hos all for the club. That Henderson has the same agent as him,and was on the phone everyday saying he should join them. The conduit between them and to VVD it may seem.

3 nil and they Cox-Ed it up lol

Disgraceful, why should a Nante lose out. Pay up Cardiff, after all they are using the tragedy for their benefit
-
may as well replaced him with Will Young, he missed a couple of easy chances the other night

Being balanced here Ford moved the Transit from Southampton to Turkey when we were fully in the EU. Some of it is posturing to get money from the Government to keep them here, surely. I was told by someone at Fords 20-30years ago tht they didnt pay the NI as they threatened to leave if it was pushed to payit. It maybe bunkum but these big companies do know how to get financial payments.

Either we are getting so old that Gordon Banks mean little, but isn't it interesting that there are only 4 posts on here regarding his death but a footballer who never set foot on a pitch here has 7pages of posts.

Is there also a minutes applause at 28 minutes

Whilst i have been quite cold to the Sala incident , I feel sadness to someone who really did make an impact on my life. I still think his save against Pele in the 1970 world cu is the greastest save I have seen in my lifetime. I also recall seeing him concede a funny owngoal at the Dell when he was lobbed by his defender. A great man and seems to me a gentleman and role model. RIP

Be careful I was told off for saying something similar earlier in this thread

Parking for the football and parking charge notices
OldNick replied to saintmatt's topic in The Saints
Im sure Lordy's link is better but look at these as well. Personally parking on private land is not a good thing and if it obstructs a business it is totally wrong, but if it is just one of those parking companies making a quick buck I hope you dont have to pay https://www.justanswer.com/uk-traffic-law/69azg-vehicle-parked-private-land-staples-preston.html https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/private-parking-tickets/ -
Mack kept talking dirty to me, I had a tough weekend and I feel well perked up. lol

To be fair in those days there wasnt the internet or so places to get the info. Shurlock you may well understand the undercurrent of the wording but I suspect the majority who were voting still had the memories of WWII ( it was only 30 years pre this time, the Falklands is further back to us now, 12 years after forthe initial treaty) and the wording is soft. It was done to deceive, if they had worded it in laymans terms the vote would have been different. The academics and politicians wanted it to happen and so joined in with the game imo
-
Perhaps but I still feel we will get 2 mores points than Cardiff after the next 12 games, do you feel the same about getting 3 more points than Barnsley or 10 more than Luton. I think you were 9 points clear at the top a few weeks ago Mack. Oh I forgot about Sunderland behind you with 2 games in hand

Parking for the football and parking charge notices

I thought these were not enforceable, if you respond you are likely to pay. Im sure Martin Lewis had something on his site about these tickets. -
Please tell how we fans could have got rid of Les? Did you fight your way to the directors box to challenge him, did you wait in the car park to meet him to give him your views? Nope you sat behind the computer telling others what they should do. I have total distaste for Les reed and feel sickened he has now a good job at the FA but know Im powerless to affect the goings on at a multi million pound business. Iam one of the foolish victims who stupidly follow a business that cynically uses the city of my birth as its name to play at my loyalties.

its always nice to get appreciation from Mother Teresa

Lol Ron, yep I did and still do. We wouldn't be where we are now if we kept our nerve. Anyway I like RH and hope the fans don't turn on him as quick. Funniy enough Ralph has to cope with a forward line who are not that good
-
I wonder if you don't get the sense that the club is short of money like |I do. We are cutting budgets everywhere and Iam concerned that there is an underlying financial problem brewing. Les employed 3 managers who were paid of, perhaps 10-15m add to that the purchases of deadwood who are out on loan on big wages. The actions were perhaps not only to trim the squad but also to get our costs down. RH seemed to have steadied the boat and felt we could cope without Cedric and the failing Gabbi. The tragedy has inspired Cardiff to winn 2 in a row, we now have to gain 2 more points than them in the next 12 games. Frankly if we cant then we get what we deserve. Some of the fans thought Puels team wasn't good enough for them, well its not time to turn on the 4th manager in a row, as if we do it says more about us than the club itself
-
all the England fans who do the dambusters stuff, thousands died with that raid. Sala has got them more points due to his tragedy than if he had played. Look at the deaths register in Southampton every week and you see more tragedy than this event, young kids who never have had a life pass away. It seems we all trip over ourselves to show people that we really are nice. The 2 fans made a misjudgement, Im sure they regret it now. I own up to singing the how many lived and how many doed song with hundreds of others when standing under the east stand by the \United fans, I see how bad that was now, but then I was young and stupid. I also recall songs sung to Ossie Ardiles about his cousin who died at the Falklands. It was 2 fans , the media just need a story and they don't care whose life they mess up. Sanitisation of society, is underway, 20-30 years time I do wonder that meat eaters will be picked out as being the ogres of society.

Yeah and I read on here that Hoj should be first name on the teamsheet and then today apparently he was rubbish. Cardiff came and did a job on us, I didn't have a good feel about today as all the planets seemed to be lining up against us. We have made a simple job harder but we need to stick together . Cardiff have a united cause due to the tragic event, that will fade and they have now a lot of goodwill from the neutrals wanting them to stay up on the back of this.
-
Accumilation of points over a period of time will get the job done. 3pts against Cardiff are the same as 3pts against Arsenal. Yes it is a terrible result but as I feel confident that over 12 games I fully expect to get more points than Cardiff in that period. If we don't then we deserve to go down.

Probably ****s on here were going to blame him, people sit in the background waiting to have a pop at him again once things are not going right
