Well that's why I'm so glad Celtic didn't get through, they already are so wealthy compared to the others they crush year on year.
-
No he didn't beat his man he beat 2 or 3 at a time. Burnley are so well drilled, at any time there is a chance of an effort on goal there are 3 or 4 back on the goalline or throwing themselves at the ball. They are a real unit and very hard to attack, our new winder got into position to shoot and each time a defender threw himself at the ball to stop the shot coming in.

You are insane one , my neighbour works for the Guardian and they openly stated at an editorial meeting that they were going to support him during the GE.
-
Verlaine is just another with the prejudice so ingrained he cant see. Just look at Sundays game and he best players multiple times
-
Listening to Chris Sutton saying that they should be into the main rounds without having to play the early games lol
-
Well they waived any deduction when Pompey were in the PL, they have never been ready for the PL
-
Someone might have the time to look up his pass accuracy and compare to similar players. As when MLT was overlooked by England ( I'm not saying they are the same BTW) as he was said to be wasteful , he said something on the lines of if you want me to make 3yard passes I will do that 100% of the time, but he wanted to make more telling passes
-
You are correct, whilst I didn't mean to be rude, but frustrated with the typical nonsense about him I read on here. We as fans put extra pressure on players by the constant moaning from the stands, that doesn't help the player and so he is more likely to hide or make a mistake. Get behind him and help him to evolve/improve. On sunday he was one of the outstanding players. Cheer him instead of moan at him.

I liked Armstrongs performance, but he is pedestrian pace wise. Lets see him after a few games before crowning him king
-
It is pretty pathetic if hes goes so soon, they were good against Man Utd and played excellent football
-
Surely they could have X amount of beers already poured 20 mins before half time. I wonder if the payment and giving change takes more time. Bottle of water £2 easy, other products are priced at £2.30 and £2.40 so that adds time sorting change. How about a credit card type scheme with credit on and swipe it like an Oyster card or such like. Vending machines for coke and sweets/chocolate bars? We queued for a bottle of water, had there been vending it would have been easy, we wouldn't have been in the queue taking up time for the beer drinkers

same mindset as the ones who used to complain about MLT being a luxury player. God the debates I had about him before the Ball days.
-
Yep of course week on week Pep goes out and has a long rant at a player. Redmond the season before caused them loads of problems but under Pellegrino was held back. You believe what you want, but to me Pep wouldn't single out a single opposition player for no reason
-
At the end of the day Pep can't be wrong. His judgement of Redmond as a good player, that was harnessed frustrated him as a coach. We don't know what Pellegrino made him do, but it was definitely against Redmond as a player. It seems to me that MH can see his positives and is willing to give him his wings.
-
Well his place is not under threat from those players. He is a decent player but it is buffoons like yourself who have such mind-sets that are so embedded you cant give him the credit he deserves.
-
His interception when he put his leg out to get to that cross late in the game was fantastic
-
Lol exactly what I thought, hey Sherlock did you see the end of that film, look in your top drawer lol, only teasing
-
Well that it is to assume we haven't got insurance, and also the insurance companies are a pushover , just wave a player through and give a policy.
-
Exactly, you know fans want he to do badly just to prove their own prejudices.
-
he holds the ball so that he can put a player in on goal. You just don't seem to want to give him the credit he deserves
-
Every player is an injury risk. There were many who didn't rate him and critical of his signing ( I wasn't sure of your position on that , but as you are being a bit defensive, perhaps you were as well), and at least 1 poster said he wanted Vokes in front of him lol
-
I thought he caused them lots of problems in both halves. He is the one player that gets me off my seat in excitement, once he has gained some more confidence and the crowd support him, you will see a fantastic player come through
-
The first half showed how Burnley were more match fit and first to the ball. All those fans who were against Ings are at least put into a box for a while , as his zip skill and enthusiasm was a class apart. Redmond was brilliant, and reading back at the this there are a few who it still cat give him the credit he deserved. McCarthy won us the point, superb saves. Vestergaad very solid The Burnley players in the main all had massive legs, such a strong team and physical. Those who say they'd prefer Vokes to Ings lol
-
they didn't have a top 6 squad when he took them on, lol. They were below us at the time
