I dont think it was empty. There was hell of a thud and the echo coming from the empty space was quite loud

It is what the future brings us. When I started going inthe late 60's it was part of the match day experience seeing sets of fans going at each other. As time went on and it got nastier, it was time for things to change. It did, and now going to away games is not the madness it was inthe 70's when wearing away colours was a no-no. I'm glad I had those experiences, but now my daughters and granddaughter go Im mightily glad it is in the main a thing of the past. Personally I think the worst time to go to games when the trouble was at its worst was the Mid to late 70's. In the late 60's to the ear;y70's the Police had little idea how to control it. The poor sods tried to stand between the fans but had little chance to really control the mobs. I recall at least twice at half time the Police coming on the tannoy threatening to postpone the game if the fighting didnt stop in the Milton end. It was Chelsea and West Ham games if I recall correctly. It was London clubs Im sure of that.

His style of play and culture he brings would fit exactly into place IMO

Whilst many will find it amusing Spurs losing Poch to United in the summer, by then there may be a manager who plays pressing football and been a success in the PL that would fit straight in with Spurs squad. We wont be smiling then.

I think you need to put some mirrors up in your home if you think she is stupid. Whilst she may not be the brightest person on earth, you dont get to become PM being stupid.

is it coincidence irony that there is uproar about a 'Stupid woman' quote from Corbyn then if you scroll to the top of the page there is a picture of Abbott lol. This is a woman he has promoted

Perhaps, the experiences by some posters above should make us all think that this is a football forum for Saints fans, all of us are connected by that. I had hoped UJ would have had the fibre to apologise but it seems too much for some. To all Saints fans who are going through tough times and greif I send my best wishes....now back to the back stabbing

The majority of pundits and press are Liverpool leaning. The way they embrace Klopp compared to Jose is unbalanced. Klopp is as bad a loser as Jose and has done some terrible interviews but he is forgiven Jose not. Had Jose ran on the pitch in a derby there would have been hell to pay. Imagine if something like tht happened in our derby , god it would be mayhem.

you've lost your moral position on this and should apologise. Am I right saying that you were the one who had problems with the Masons(?) parking in front of your gate????

I remember the atmosphere in the first leg of the league cup being electric. The difference I believe is that nowthe fans seem to have taken to Ralph and not worried about his lack of good English in interviews etc. it is good to have a pretty united fanbase -

Am I right thinking that the fanbase in the main is the most united since Koemans arrival?? -
Im sure Brexit is the reason, but I suspect we will see massive cuts in motor car employment due to the onset of new electric technology for cars.A client of mine was invited to a Mercedes factory and was told that few if any of the models on show now will be in the showrooms in 2 years time, due to the new electric cars coming forward. Of course few engine parts will be needed and so the workforce will be reduced.

Whilst he feels its not his fault, he must have known he was doing wrong and so why is he now expecting sympathy?

So something costing more is not a negative lol and you say Im the moron

well the performance against Spurs was pretty decent with Kelvin in charge, much better than the Cardiff game

The EU will give us nothing as they know that the chances of a second referendum increase by the day.

Its a true story, but another niggle we have to go through. Much like the visa for the US , its there and we have to pay it. It is just another new thing that will cost us, but as you say its only £7 but a family of 4 its £28

FFS do you have to take every sentence literally? Of course no deal will ever suit 100% of the people but it should suit more that 52%
-
LD this is not a normal situation or GE it is something that has ramifications for generations. The selfish ,'we have won and so stuff everyone else' is an appalling position to take. Especially when most of our people had no idea really what they were voting for. The deal should be for us all, not the 4% extra who made the difference.

Thank-you for your reply. Personally I believe she went with her hands tied as the terms we signed up to all those years ago were to totally screw anyone who wished to leave. Hence what is happening now. In some ways I feel we should go for the nuclear option and do the no deal, as that would immediately focus the EU's minds. They know we are fearful of it, but Im sure privately they are as well. Ireland are playing the billy big balls, but if we do the no deal they are really shafted. I voted to stay in as I did read the terms we were going out on and could see we were shafted. The deal has to be for all the people not just the 52% , this is something Rees Mugg and his crew dont seem to grasp
