  1. Lol I assume you think stealing other peoples money is ok then? You are going to get those are you? As fanciful as the Brexiteers.
  2. I may also like to point out that at the hostel has obviously had all its guests evicted who yesterday were in the centre of Salisbury, drunk and generally not very nice. My granddaughter was pretty frightened by them and how they were behaving in a drunken/drugged way. This lovely City is being decimated by the attack on our soil. Whether it can recover only time will tell. A tragedy for all of us. The tourists have dropped to pathetic levels and day trippers will choose Winchester or Bath to visit. Interestingly, the media say that Amesbury is 6 miles from Salisbury but don't say it is only a mile from Stonehenge
  3. It depends if it looked like drugs of some kind. I don't know what heroin looks like but it it looked similar then perhaps they thought they stumbled over a free stash. I doubt they thought it was nail polish remover
  4. lol what would you know then?Afterall there are lots of pages on the internet to get down to the hard facts. I think that is one of the best comebacks ever on here.
  5. i didn't vote for Brexit so I was happy with the status quo, except I do not like the Eurocrats who are unelected and unaccountable feeding out of the trough
  6. So what is the answer? Do you think we could get the food supply by each having a farm to wander around? If you want to start the vegetarian thing then so be it, but sadly a pig in a cage being produced for food is the way it is. Letting it in a field enjoying itself and then slaughtering is just as bad I would suggest
  7. whether getting the North Koreans to the table was worthwhile only time will tell, but Obama and the others who went before couldn't.
  8. How much food is destroyed to keep the said prices?? French farmers hold a massive sway over the French government, there is no getting over that. They are very militant and get their way. Good for them. Farmers are not getting it so easy here now, and it was surprising that so many of them voted out.
  9. I haven't read about this, is it refugees or immigrants? How many refugees are Russia taking BTW,not a trick question just asking in case you know
  10. I listened to a client who is a top financial man and he said to me that the City thing is not a problem. In this global world he said that a lot will set up satellite offices in Dublin to do the EU stuff (also low taxation) and the City will fight as ever in the World market for services etc . That may not be chapter and verse to what he said, but he was pretty cool about it. May has gone for a pragmatic deal that will save jobs and the best this mess can provide
  11. I don't know quite what this 'Pal' is all about in a lot of your posts. I would have thought you may have shown a bit of restraint after you made a mistake in your post saying Google instead of BBC news. As for Trump he will shake the tree and get results. He is correct that the US taxpayer is paying a good amount into protect Germany. They can relax and enjoy not spending quite so much on defence and give it away to other projects knowing the US is spending to protect.Of course it is to the US benefit but like the Brexitters have always felt that we pay to keep French farmers in a life that is uneconomical
  12. Oh ok it j just read you said first result when you google. I found it great and would rather watch that arrogant unelected person looking foolish. The same as I would Blatter.
  13. if you google Juncker surely you get the most recent results about him?
  14. Well I disagree, a bunch of women looking for the limelight and bickering behind the scenes will cause friction. They go back or phone their hubbies and it causes a distraction. Especially this young generation,
  15. the burocrats will rally behind him and say it was a bad prawn or something.
  16. It was sad to listen on the BBC podcast saying that Modric and the Croats thought we disrespected them with the 'coming home' stuff also that they were tired and would beat them. Their press was also scathing
  17. it was good that the off field distractions of the WAGS were put aside. I wonder if Southgate made decisions about celebrity and the sideshow as well as talent as he picked his squad. Wilshire has his distractions off field and so may be a reason his box was not picked. In the last 20 years the wives and celebrity has clouded the teams talent and became a distraction. Hence the fans losing faith
  18. He is a mate of Farage. We don't know what he has plotted to get his way. If the US don't do a deal then it is chaos supreme once we are cut away.
  19. His wife thinks a lumberjack is better than him
  20. Considering the forward started well behind him, it shows he was not moving toward the ball but waiting. If he had moved to the ball he would not have needed to dive forward but head away. The forward would have have not got near it. You can try and defend Walker (better than he can)but he was at fault. I do concede that he should have had a call of 'man on' which may have got him to move a bit sooner
  21. if he moved forward he could have kicked it. All tournament he was sow on the ball and got caught a few times. He is not a entre back and so was bound to make mistakes
  22. I also suggest that many will be calling for Southgates head in18-24months time. At the moment he is a hero. Some of his decisions would be questioned more had he not have the honeymoon period at present.
  23. IMO Walker was at fault as he waited for the ball rather than moving toward it. He was making quite a few edgy mistakes before that as well
  24. I'm not sure what we can do. So we have a nation with massive national debt, we want more Police, more money for the NHS, more for schools, more libraries, more for defence, re-nationalisation of the Railways and Utilities how are we going to get there??? I don't feel right to borrow more for my grandchildren to have to pay back. You have to cut your cloth accordingly, and we only have so much to go around. Forget not every civil servant , Nurse, Policeman etc is another massive pension and all that comes with it to pay for. It is a dilemna
  25. I hadn't seen the BBC report just the Evening Standard piece.Still an horrific attack. If it was a 16year old boy and 15 year old girl, that is a pretty scarry reflection on the state of societySir Christopher is an outspoken presence on social media, and has called for Britain to engage with Mr Trump rather than turn its back on him.He served as British ambassador to the US from 1997 to 2003, coinciding with events including 9/11 and the preparation for the war in Iraq.Lady Meyer added: "At first I thought that the attack was politically motivated. He is opinionated, and sometimes people have different opinions, but the police told me they believe that it is more likely that they might have wanted to rob him."
