bloody hell talk about laying it on thick. How about when we were thumped by Liverpool in the cup at home the season before, who was manager that time? 6-1 or something. Total humiliation. Obviously the kids all dressed up, skipped home in enjoyment on that occasion. If kids are so brittle me and my brother who saw us humiliated at Everton 8-0 circa 1972 should have given up supporting us as we were 10 and 14. Like your support of officials at all costs, your anti Puel feelings just become so set in stone you cant see any other point.

I quite like CA but he really looked as if he couldn't run or was worried his hamstrings would go again and so didn't sprint. There was an attack where he laid the ball off and then just trotted to the box, by the time he got there the ball had been and gone. I understand he is a goalscorer but his mobility is a big problem. He may have recovered from his last injury by August but I would be concerned if he was our main forward next season

there's always an excuse with the anti Puel's. Iam happy to wager with you that Puel will keep his job. The winnings going to a childrens charity

I watched the 90 minutes last night and it was a superb game. It didnt look that the dressing room had gone in that performance

Anybody phoned the Marriott tonight and asked are you a Premier inn , no thought not OWTSGMI:)

Oh that's Interesting. You seem certain on that

Has the internet crashed in Pompey as it seems Mack and co's congratulations have failed to arrived
-
Personally I think Long is brilliant at tiring the defenders and I think hed be a nightmare for a defender to play against. Hopefully MH can give him the confidence to start scoring again
-
It is concerning if he is our main man
-
Was Austin concerned about his hamstrings, as he didn't get out of a trot

Fr a Kenyan you certainly do have the grammar of a Glaswegian. Good to have fans from all over the world though
-
oh ok thanks, he's still there lol. I haven't seen any of his qotes from Shakespeare recently
-
Surely not, you know the rulebook inside and out so nothing should bore you lol

ah I see. Is that condisending idiot still the football reporter at the News?? The Villa fan, I cant recall his name

God can you imagine the sickly congratulatory piece Reed and Kruegar will be thinking up as they slap each other on the backs? 'We are masters by leaving it to the correct time to relieve MP from his job, to give our newly selected manager, who we went through vigorous tests and considerable time before choosing the right man'

Playing Man U in a semi final is pretty difficult, especially with a master of big games is up against you. poch is a fantastic manager and I do not wish him harm, but to dowell

Iam concerned about the clubs complacency. When Austin was interviewed after the game the other night he brushed off that we could go down. Unprofessional and such an attitude my spark a team like City to think lets go for it. Get to half-time 0-0 or just 1 down and I will be happy, but if we start off slack we could get intoa lot of trouble and become very nervy. I hope my concerns are unfounded but watching Saints for over 50 years has made me more negative than I should be.

It was until we had a sending off as I recall. We should have scored 3 or4 before then. A goal up and that would have changed the game
-
are you talking of Koeman or Puel? Yet again asper most of that season we missed gilt edged chances that would have made us coast into the knockout stage. I recall VVD's easy header chance and Jrod at Milan. We sold our goals and relied on Long an injured Austin and Jrod who was never the player he was before the injury. If you think you can run a PL and Europa Cup campaign with those resources good on you.

I thought it was about good exciting football. The same was for the Spurs game at home, whilst we lost we batteredthem, but of course as was the case for most of the season we couldn't put the ball into the net and that cost us. Still good football though

its too subtle for me, that's for sure!!

What if Swansea make up 9-point goal difference?
OldNick replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
Perhaps they put it to vote to the staff of the Marriott -
Sorry saint86 i didn't mean to seem so scathing, it wasn't intended to be that way. Apologies
