Mourinho made a special effort to shake his hand when he left the pitch. He also mentioned his finish in his interview. I suspect he will be monitiring the situation
-
his style is incisive short and quick passing as well as counter attacking. At present he has not got 'his' team in place. No team plays superbly every game and watching Liverpool last night with one of the 'best in the World' coaches, it shows it is not always easy. I am firmly behind Puel and as I stated some months ago he may become our best ever manager. This is quite a statement, I could never make the same when RK was in charge, although I quite liked him. Give him some time, the way he showed the world how Southampton play should give him a lot of slack by the dis believers. Stop chipping away at him and you may well see some exciting times ahead if KL etc are true to their word
-
Forget it, you seem a sensitive type of person who lets them upset you. The reason they will do it is because it looked impressive. They will probably get to Wembley for the play offs this season and they will be able to hold their telepnones in the air if they can get enough cable
-
The beautiful football we play at times is down to Puel. Imagine how good on the eye we will be if he is here for 2 or 3 more seasons.

I saw it on the Saints fans group on FB
-
well considering the Man Utd fans didnt bother to get into the ground untl4.20 I doubt you saw many saints fans. Listen to your manager, yep the Special one who actually knows about football, he praised the fans of our club for making the day. Can you please tell your fellow fans that it wasn't Mannequin challenge day, only at the end of the game when you realised you had got out of jail was they any movement in your fanbase. Anyway, you will be able to go wallow in the pride of a city you dont come from, for winning a competition. Funny how when you talk to Man U , Liverpool fans they always say they didnt start supporting the club bacause they were winning things. They come up with my dads grandads best mate saw the newspaper after Munich
-
No, the feeling I had after Highbury 84 has never been felt again since that day. I still feel sick when I think of that day, the whole game we had things go against us, but again we were by far the best team. Andy Gray spent the whole game fouling but the ref just let him get aay with it.
-
thats interesting as Yosh was trying to take the ball short at goalkicks, perhapstrying to protect his leg
-
He was far to close to his near post and the ball went it about 4 foot from his far post from a shot 30 odd yards out. I want FF to do well but at present he has lost his nerve
-
I try and defend players but FF made a cardinal error yesterday. I have for a while questioned Dave Watsons abilities as a goalkeeping coach, none of our keepers have improved under his stewardship.Surely positioning at a free kick should be worked on or talked about. He is so flat footed, I thought you should be on the toes waiting to spring. De Gea made a magnificent save from JWP, I doubt FF would have got near it.

Had to watch bits of the game I had recrded yesterday and have never seen MLT so heated about an incident. He was like a real fan and couldnt hide the fact how useless the lino was. The lino is supposed to be the cream of the lot to get to officiate in a final, to be so wrong is appalling.
-
I know you like to be controversial but get it a rest on a day after such a disappointing result. Puel showed with a lesser quality squad that he made them really concerned and the way they celebrated when they scored the 3rd they knew they had got out of jail.
-
we sang a coule of others, but OWTS is an anthem for us that all can sing. I suppose you wanted us to sing about Pompey lol At least we sang one more song than those United fans. Pathetic bunch, there end was just a dark soulless mire

Jimmy Steele "Le Tissier a lazy b*****d, Benali was s**t".
OldNick replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
If every ex player had a free ticket there wouldnt be many left for the paying fans, could be argued. -

Saw Jim at the saints quiz night when MLT hosted it. He said quite a few things regarding LM!! Lol -
I wonder if the crackdown about grabbing an opponent in the penalty area has nullified their defence as well. I still believe it is a crass decision and the players have tarnished their own achievemnet if they were part of the sacking
-
If he did here that he did at Leicester actually win the PL, I would take him like a shot, and I suspect hte leicester fans in the main wuld stmach relegation for that one season. Our friends down the road took a massive drp to win the FA cup and the majority would do it again if they had the chance I suspect
-
Sadly the manager gets sacked not the players, all down to their contracts and costs of doing so, but they are shameful how they have let him down.
-
Lol, He is isnt a good manager!!!!! Yep frigging useless, like having Mr Bean in charge wasnt it. It is so easy to win the PL with a mediocre squad. Even if that is his only ever trophy he should be seen as a master of his trade.
-
He left for a bigger club, that's fine but it depends how you do it. If he had a shot on him he would be a great player rather than a good one. He was always going to earn big money by moving, and Iam very surprised he is at that wage level, it is something that turns me off modern football, ask these people to pass the ball 100 times 10 yards and they'd miss a lot of the time, as for missing the first defender with a cross

To be fair to CB, the General Election was not won on immigration, but to my mind without doubt the Brexit was down to immigration. I knwo people will say its the 350m to the NHS but it was immigration and the labour heartlands voted for Brexit due to that issue
-
there must be a non league competition called Premier League
-
What do you think was the major issue in the Brexit vote that made the difference to the result?
-
That wont be there after today lol

He cant think of a better club to commit to....! At the end of the day, he can look at his bank balance every week and know he did the correct thing. He may not have many medals but Im sure he will be able to go to a London auction and buy some of them when real footballers sell theirs
