  1. ok sorry I missed the massive upsurge in the likelyhood of those parties wining lots of seats....also that many of the Labour heartlands supported Brexit and so not likely to vote for Remainers
  2. Seems like Diane Abbot did the maths for these past gems
  3. Les Reeds toy has lost its wheels it seems. With all these things it is the quality of the material you put in to get a quality one at the end.I assume our scouts are not quite as good as they used to be
  4. yes thats my point. If she has enough less very eurosceptics who are pragmatic she will be able to defeat a revolt in her own party
  5. I listened to this last night, comparing David Armstong to Stevn Davis FFS. Armstrong was a different league, as much as I like Davis he is nothing to what Armstrong did. Generally I feel the show is a little slow and perhaps you need another contributor to pep up the conversation. I still enjoyed listening although it is hard work at times
  6. what a thumping majrity brings is the chance for May to get a softer Brexit. If she comes back with a deal some of the very UKIP/Eurosceptic mps dont like, she will still be able to push it through. Come back with the same deal with a 20 majority and it is hard Brexit or nothing. We all should hope for a large majority for that reason IMHO

Personally I wonder if this time next year we may be delighted for a top half finish.
  8. Get Diane Abbot to calculate the spending and we all wont have to pay much tax at all.
  9. obviously there are no austerity cuts in that area and the council can afford these events!!!! If i was a local council tax payer I would ask questions to this waste

which one? the one under Koeman or this season
  11. Surely not Ralph told us that this wont happen..............
  12. I assume he seen that they can generate £m's from somewhere to get his investment retruning. Where I dont know, the cost of a new even a 20k stadium must be now in the 60-80m mark. He also has to get past the planners and the locals near a stadium, we know our own problems doing that in the past. I assume he hasnt come across the planning you need over here compared to the US
  13. well tell that to Man City and Man Utd fans this weekend

it will be a disgrace if Puel goes. He hasnt had time to get the team together to his wishes. LM got relegated in his first season, Im so glad the board didnt buckle to the fans then. The best we can ever get now is 7th unless the bigger clubs take their eyes off the ball again like they did for the previous 3 seasons. We had our chance for real glory when had we invested instead of selling we may have pushed on. Now we haev to fight to stay in the middle part of the table, and hope for good cup runs. Puel got us to a final and all the great feeling that went with it, he should be given the chance to do similar again. If Puel did great after match interviews by telling the fans how great they are he would have lots behind him, but all it seems to matter is that he is not a big personality.
  15. Perhaps Pompey will go to the council and get them to do a deal with the taxpayers money (again) The Liverpool council have bought Evertons training ground and then letting them pay at a reduced rent, no doubt they will try and put this forward to their local council
  16. have you only just realised that??? Go back in my posts at the start and you will see me saying the sameIt took 7 years for the EU to negotiate a trade deal with Canada, so it was never going to take only 2 in something so complex as us leaving.
  17. you lost that as soon as you said Ed Balls was a fine economist As for Corbyn getting an ovation at a headmasters convention, lol they love the thoughtt of bigger budgets that makes their life easier and a bigger salary. I went through the state sysyem but am paying for a young relative to go to private school and hopefully will then go onto grammer school. Corbyn and crew want me to pay VAT on those fees. Of course his son (apparently he was against it, strong man who bent and let it happen, convenint that) and the majority of his front bench went through the grammer school or private system but dont want others to be able to do so. As for sending more kids to Uni, that is a joke, it was Blairs plan to look like the unemploymnt figures were going down. All those kids walking the streets will 'Ologies' really makes a difference to their job prospects, it just makes them more unhappy as they cant get jobs with the higher expectations they now have

getting rid of your manager every summer will mean relegation eventually.
  19. The goal keeping coach would be a start, How can you have a 6ft 7in keeper so lacking in commanding his box. The coach should be working on that first and then go from there

ok that is fair but how many away games has he managed since he took over? It is a fair point that had Puel had the same away record in that many games he would beslaughtered by Batman and the like. The grass is always greener

we have had the worst season for injuries to our best players since our last relegation from the top league. VVD and Austin would have probably helped us win more games
