well Im sure he can see pararells to his frst year or so at the Dell
-
Did he really flop at Burnley, the squad he built
-
I know they are not as good as some but they try their best, no need to be horrible:lol:
-
How about having a government who actually puts people like this behind bars instead of suspended sentances. I bet they are local heroes now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-hampshire-39730776/cctv-shows-woman-s-attack-on-taxi-driver

ISIS beheadings, they will shake in their boots as Corbyn sends a message of 20 doves as they kill and maim their way through the infidels. People like yourself and Corbyn are well meaning but live in a world of fantasy. ISIS will not change and they are playing the long game, Western society is soft and they believe the more of the soft 'dont punch my face, I forgive you' politicians take centre stage their power will grow. They dont care if it takes 50/100 years they know they will get their way eventually. I wish Dubai Phil still posted , he has a tremendous insight into the Arab world and would I expect explain

As for Gabbi, was it down to Puel that when he had a one on one with Butland he missed and also failed with a penalty. Puels tactics werent seen as bad when Gabb was scoring for fun of course
-
Exactly, Puel was dealt a bad hand. It was fairly obvious he wanted the job and accepted it, he I hope will now build a team that will take a larger percentage of chances we create. The biggest problem the club will face is that the critical fans will slink away and await the first chance to come out and make things difficult again
-
This is quite amusing as Corp Ho hated it when I used to call Pompey the Wigan of the south, and it came to pass that they are a slightly bigger club lol
-
a man who at a time when our own people and servicemen were being targeted by the IRA Corbyn was not condemning their actions. I suspect you were not alive then and so can look at it with 'oh those poor people being downtrodden and so have to kill Brits' To have somebody as weak as Corbyn trying to talk to despots is ridiculous. (it was interesting last night how on have I got news for you the headline was weak men are more likely to be socialists) He is weak and I'm sure he will be able to stop those beheadings by going across to them in his linen suit and sandals and say to them 'Don't do that'
-
youre not indicating that he is always trying to destabilise the club, surely not lol
-
CBFry is going to be well upset his name not being flagged up, you must do better Wade
-
It would be interesting to know that, I doubt we would ever be allowed to know. The managers used to get a cut of transfers not sure if Cortese put an end to that one
-
I thank you for the mention, if I had the time or interest to have a multiple log in I wouldnt use those type of names. My name is Nick and changed from NickH after a NickG started posting and I didnt want to be confused with his posts. Therfore I was the 'Old' Nick ,the devil and old. As for me posting in favour of Puel , Iam category 1 in your list
-
Next few weeks lol. It will be most days until the window shuts. Personally I wont be surprised if he stays for another season as I was told he is a very honourable type who doesnt agitate for a move. Hopefully what I was told is true
-
Ok i will edit for you so then you might get my point, 'Yessss Redmond yo beauty we might make the top 8 ths season'
-
you only have to read the match threads to see how quickly some on here turn. One minute it is 'this is crap' 'No plan B' 'Redmond is a waste of Space' 'We are dire' 'I can see a relegation scrap conming up' then a minute later 'Yesssssssssssss, Redmond you beauty, we could make top 4 this season.'

apart from 8th position and a cup final what did the Romans do for us? TM Monty Python
-
as if a manager is going to convince the plaers to stay. Our best players will leave once the agents get in their ear and our board see the £ signs

Watched the last half of this that was screened last night on TV. For me the last minute was one of the most powerful images of the extermination of the JEws. I have been hardened to seeing the pictues over the years and it has little effect, until I saw that last clip. Pictures in crayon on the walls of the extermination camp done by children showing the naiviety of chldhood and escapism even though they knew they were going to die. Very very sad, and I found very emotionall Everybody should watch that little snippet as it puts into context the pathetic day to day worries we have in our lives
-
that post may come back and haunt you lol. Im not sure that Monk at Swansea was known for exciting football or more passing football
-
a lot of the fans deserve Mickey Mouse. The next manager will have the same squad, same limitations and will be expected to rotate the squad to showcase our acadamy. I will await the exciting 3 all draws and no or 4-3 defeats and will be pleased to see not a whimper of complaint by the precious bored on here.
-
Some ought to go back and do a search of Koeman out and look at their posts then and now. May as well as copy and paste it for Puel lol
-
I always smile at the bitter jibes at him, but he was instramental in bringing us back from the dead. It is sad he was not appreciated by us more
