  1. Apt that it is Disney as this will be a rollercoaster. Standing back I suppose it would be worth a punt, it wouldnt take too much investment to get out of Division 1, surely they will do Div 2 this season. They have a decent fanbase and so a good income. IMO the 16 presidents will take the money as quick as anything. Im not sure how the payment structure would work out but I assume if the club is worth 5m the stakeholders will/might get their £1k each back and the 16 share the spoils. The problem copmes when they sell the club and the stakeholders go forward with their certificates and see that they are worth as much as The London Ice company shares when the refridgerator went into peoples homes.
  2. Thats why they were oh so comfortabel and not begging for the final whistle, surely they should have just upped the gear and got the 3rd goal to kill us off. I assume they didnt do it so that they could keep it interesting for the Sky viewers. They were not that good in the first half, they had a long range shot and an iffy penalty apart from that they hardly looked world beaters. I suggest you give them a bit back rather lie there and accept their blinkered views
  3. A fans said Romeau is better than Victor lol Yosh poor Davis also not at the races
  4. He'd be a better manager of Take That than he would be as a football one.

    Budget

I dont have a clue how the Education system works, it failed me in the late 60's and early 70's. Then there was real lack of funds, but people didnt expect what people do now. So you are in Education, very good but it doesnt mean you are any more special than anybody else in society, and I feel sorry for your students if your response is always so aggressive to them. On the BBC they had an exprt who said that the money was going to be spread around the whole system and more fairly to the poorer areas. Ok it may not work in the grand scale but it seems pretty fair to me.

    Budget

Everybody needs more money, one week its the NHS banging on,then the Police, now its the Education system. The days of plenty are gone and we have to cut our cloth accordingly, its good you give up 2 weeks a year of your paid holiday, how about giving it to me as I took off less than 2 weeks the whole of last year ( mine was unpaid of course)
  7. Can somebody explain to me why the British govenrment are so keen for Scotland to stay with us. Surely as they are heavily subsidised by the English would we not be better off? I personally admire the Scots and they have been fantastic brave allies in the past, I dont admire their leaders though
  8. it doesnt come overnight, and whilst you believe it is very successful the constant selling of star players takes its toll on fans who lose interest. Getting to cup finals cements fans support, actually winning something adds anotehr tranche of fans. Finishing 12th may seem fantastic to some but that will never get the stadium full. A sustained period of challenging and getting close to finals or winning is the recipe needed. We have cemented our place in the PL (again) and so we will see if we kick on or be satisfied with mid table year on year
  9. where do I write him off, I have posted every time in support of him. He is a class player and will become a very important player
  10. all this assist stuff is a little misleading, I suspect Redmond has been a major part in the build up to goals. He is developing fast and is at least shooting from range, ok they are not coming off at present but....
  11. thats nawty lol
  12. Pickford is IMO going to be like so many young English keepers over the years. Hyped up and will be just another keeper in time. Richard Wright was one as an example in the past who looked good while young and then became just an also ran. Anyway I wouldnt want to risk having our goalkeeping coach lt loose on a promising keeper

    TV Tax

There we have the BBC advertising the Gary Barlow musical on prime time tv and it apparently turns out the winners only get to be on the chorus line at best. Thats a way to spend our licence money.
  14. Checkatrade.....well the last owners wouldnt have made it in to that
  15. I'm not sure about Steven yet but he did well yesterday when the Watford forward was running on goal and he shepherded him away and took the ball off him. Has VVD done the same we would be drooling about it

why has this become a left or right wing thing? Do the BBC really need more money to slop around. Surely they could cut some of the slack and become a tad more efficient. The news department is massive and I recall Huw Edwards presenting the news from the rooftop of one of the buildings in the city, and a helicopter filming him. Why ????
  17. I listened to most of the second one and found it easy listening. To be very successful you need not to be so measured and be controversial and be right arses like Savage or Danny Baker lol. Perhaps you should do interviews with some of the fans on here, Alpine , Heisenberg, etc. they would get reactions and perhaps the listening base would grow as they want to scream at the telephone. Im sure Duncan Holley would like to give some input as he could give insights to things (not that i know he would, but Im sure he would do so)
  18. 12 more points I would think, so no chance of overtaking Everton or WBA
  19. No doubt they will put forward TCWTB for musician of the year as well
  20. It would be nice if the officials actually came out and apologised. The decision had a major impact on the result, it was a major mistake that effected a lot of people.Wayne Shaw lost his job eating a pasty, what will happen to the linesman ?
  21. why would RK want to go to Barcalona? They werent the first club to have dug outs
