  1. people are too frightened to let their kids go to the park as the media is always talking peadophiles etc. When I was a kid we were latch key kids and my parets encoraged us to go out even though the Moors murderers were still fresh in peoples minds. ' go out into the parks, Nick and make new friends' they would say.....ohh
  2. ok you're right there lol
  3. well im not over 60 and so .....
  4. the orchested campaign begins. I thought Liverpool footaball club had put out a statement that they had withdrawn their interest and had apologised to our fans. Thus admitting they are causing us offence and upset, in these times of claims perhaps we should have the help of an ambulance chasing lawyer on this as ' the stress of Liverpools now renewed interest is causing us much strain and we cant sleep, and are having to get medication to help stop it.'
  5. Is or was ?
  6. I suspect you are right, I know my generation have pandered too much to our children. We have been fortunate as we have created our own wealth and pehaps as we went without we didnt want for the same to happen to our kids, sadly too much. We didnt have cafe society, or go out for meals, get takeaways, and designer stuff was rare or unheard of. The last 30 years materialistic things have tumbled out of control. You even have babies with Ralph Lauren kit on
  7. He was correctly treated by Puel as he was poor. He scored the luckiest goal against Sunderland and that stopped us selling him and getting in somebody sharper, as the fans were up in arms that we were going to sell him
  8. we may have the wealth but our frigging kids keep coming back and taking it lol. Our generation left home at 16-18 and never had a handout, wheras the kids of today!!! Perhaps Mays manifesto didnt hel getting their vote either as their inheritence was going to be taken......dont worry they all are waiting for us to pop our clogs. Go to 1minute 55 for the inheritence bit
  9. is Vieira a big name to footballers who are 20 odd??? I suspect most owuld have to Wikipedia his name to find out
  10. Why should he change his principles? Who was scoring often and dropped , Gabbiadini wasnt, he just got injured or not fit enough to stay on for 90 minutes. I think Clasie scored a goal and was dropped the next game but perhaps he wasnt playing to the way he was supposed to. Tadic may have been but the amount of chances he spurned was ridiculous. The fact is Puel was left with the poorest line up front, it was like letting Mr Bean loose in a brothel
  11. No but their fans are not whining because they didnt seem any goals forgetting gettig to the cup final and what that brought to the season. We dont need a top manager we need a miracle worker as scoring goals with Long Jrod and our midfield is nye impossible I was told last night that apparently we created more chances than any other team last season, well it oculdnt be due to negative football
  12. who says he lost the dressing room? He may have irked a few players but Ferguson did that as well. Jrod threw his toys out of the pram but he hardly is an important player to us
  13. May has the more severe type 1 diabetes
  14. wow thats a relief
  15. you have to support whoever comes in as you were so vocal on Puel to leave. I doubt we will get to Wembley again for a decade or so, unless its in a play off
  16. the sacking of Puel is very similar imo to Brexit, it eventually will sink in for the majority what a disaster it is
  17. well we'll see loads of goals, mainly in our goal. he couldn't arrange a defence
  18. Dyche really? yep he does do interviews but any manger that signs that Liverpudlian thug shouldnt be anywhere near our club
  19. perhaps their board will tell their fans they bought a charlie Austin as cover for the outgoing strikers like our board did
  20. Heard this today from somebody who has been at meetings regarding staffing for the NHS. As we have lost so many staff by Nurses etc going back to Europe, the NHS have been sending people to the Phillipines to recruit. Not having a great deal of luck, but those who do, then want to bring their famillies and so lo and behold we have more people coming in with parents who need care. Then a lot get here and after 6 weeks have to sit the English test and fail it even though they speak decent English Its an absolute mess
  21. Is the ex Chelsea manager still around, Villa Boas (?)
  22. I think the nation got it wrong in wanting to leave the EU. As we live in a democratic country I stand by the decision but now the general populace are starting to see the result of that decision, and they might well be regretting the result. Yes in 10 years we may well be ok, but until then it is going to be unsettling times. If there was another vote, the young would this time vote and they in the main would vote remain. Many others would also do as they are smarting from the untruths portrayed by the outers. Sadly our society is not bright and after the vote Googles biggest search in history was 'What is the EU?' As I believe that it would be a wrong to go back on the decision , I do think t was a regretful decision.
  23. We have had Brexit, Trump, and a strange GE result who knows whats in store for us in this mad year I dont feel good about things at present
  24. lets hope we dont regret this decision
  25. Poch took over from one of the most popular managers ever, he was viewed with sceptisism and it took some time before fans came around
