Thanks for putting that up VFTT, it is a shame is a player is caught in this mud sligging and he was not part of the problem. My info about Long saying the players loved Puel (some weeks ago ) is correct, hopefully the Black cloud may be lifted
-
:) Are you saying Black is on his way or that you agree with Shurlocks opinion of you loll
-
It's probably Harrison Reed signing his new contract........only kidding
-
well I trust the man who Long spoke to and he is somebody who doesn't need to make false rumours, many of you on here would have visited his business in the New Forest
-
Gary Rowett seems the right type,
-
Was he not there under Pardew and Adkins?
-
it is a fact thoug, so they did have an honours policy ( not obsessed) as it actually happened. Not the 'we are going to be in the CL' and then go and sell the quality you have to get you there.
-
the same could be said of VVD as it was in the media for a long time we were after him
-
that's what he said, but things may have deteriated since. I did post the comments up just after I was told some weeks ago I
-
The thing about Long rails against what he said to somebody that has a business near where Shane lives. It was some weeks ago but he said the players loved CP and he was the best he had played under! Im not saying VFTT is wrong but the words were from Long himself. Perhaps people are jumping at the conclusion both at Long is one of the unhappy players
-
well i was listening to 5live talkin last night and the Everton fan said they were outsung for 80 minutes until they scored
-
or Leicester, and Stoke are playing better football than us.They also haven't had 10ms of income on player sales
-
Not sure who Evans is, but it doesn't matt r the players reaction but the West Ham player left the ground with both feet. Had that tackle been made against a Saints player I would want a sending off. No doubt the player rolling on the ground did reinforce Deans decision to send the player off. Yes the 2nd was way offside
-
I think a lot of fans are frustrated as the penny has dropped that although players like VVD have signed long contracts the club are lining up to sell. Add to that the fact we lost the major goalscorers from the team we didn't fully replace those goals. They then come out and indicate that Austin was Pelles replacement, but not when he was bought. We were short of forwards before the 2 left let alone after
-
As much as I feel Dean is having a poor time reffing , to my mind the West Ham player had both feet off the ground, and thought that was a red card offence.
-
how many goals did he score for us? we need a goalscoring midfielder, a striker and suspect can find another ball winning midfielder elsewhere in the world.
-
It was an unfortunate quote and has hampered Redmond.
-
Perhaps we missed Redmonds pace, desire and guile
-
I was frowned upon by at least one of the above posters on here when I was critical of the club not investing in replacements. Tough times coming up in the next few months
-
God this is the type of thing I really dislike in modern day football
-
WBA will be very difficult to beat, and dangerous at set pieces, something we were poor against the other night. Draw at best IMO, but I hope to be wrong
-
RK knows his reputation has already been tarnished going there and will look for an excuse to bail out IMO
-
Yep all valid, perhaps though the club should not give fans higher expectations than they are prepared to fund.

In with no second thought

I still think the problem lays with the goalkeeping coach. Frazer has a massive advantage of height and bulk, he should be taking the crosses and I suspect most forwards will get out of his way rather than be smashed by him. Perhaps watching Pat jennings as a kid and the likes of Schmichael and Grobbelaar may skew my opinion. I do understand that Grobellar was reckless at times but Liverpool made sure they had defenders on the line when he dominated. Watson should be working on dominating the area, but as he was a small keepe he probably never left his line as he didnt want his hair to get ruffled
