I do believe it is valid to think that the people in those communities are better served to root out the mad men. I feel we have to give time to see if Puel is the right man. I don't follow European football and so did not know of him before he was linked to Saints. I do have concerns that the one player that really was exciting has left as well as a real powerhouse in midfield. We have brought Redmond in who has obvious talent but is he on the same level as players who have left? Puel will bring in a couple of French players I suspect and hopefully they will have more steel than the ones that joined Newcastle

If you are on an index linked pension or have assets based in dollars or export to the USA, I suggest you can sit and enjoy the ride but sadly the majority of business and the people of the UK are likely to have a grim 5 years. If you had a business that was doing well and somebody came to you and said that you should cut away 40% of your business ( it was a difficult customer but there to stay) and look to markets elsewhere where you may find new business although not as wealthy a customer, at the same time potentially losing a major part of your core business to your rivals,you would laugh at them. I think that is what we have done. I will be so delighted if my concerns prove to be unfounded
