I would be happy for. Long to join as a squad player, but 10m! Iam sure there are plenty of players we could have bought of the same quality for half that a few months back. In fact I'd prefer the Watford lad
-
Long for 10m certainly takes the edge off what we got for our players. IF we do sign him for a figure around that price then those apologists who thought Saints didn't need to buy before we sold must feel a tad foolish. All clubs know we are desperate for players and now will double their expectations. Amateur in our strategy IMO
-
Well 60m contributed to the CUp Win and so I can believe it. Probably 2000 of the clubs suppliers were not paid

he has a choice it depends how far he wants to go. I get the impression that. MS is more intelligent than most footballers and can see he may ruin his reputation and even future. I expect that if he has had a change of heart the club have given him the green light for a move in Jan
-
that's correct, although at first it seemed we were. We had. The war. Chest that was spoken about before the sales let alone the transfer money. I expect us to get another couple in before the window shuts,

Difficult to write him off yet. Iam sceptical but I. Recall all the fans saying RL was not up to it. In fact I will always remember a fan on the Northam screaming at RL what a lazy fat so and so he was (he had scored about 15goals for us that season at that stage) and then scoring the winner. I notice McGoldrick is back after his bad ankle injury, to think the abuse he got when he was just 17or18. I hope he really does well in the future

I'm fairly certain it was the Archers end, left hand post. The spurs fans wouldn't know which end was called in those days.

My brother was trapped when the fall fell. I remember the stick Dineage took as he had to walk in front of the saints fans to a gantry

I wonder what our win ratio was when Wanyama and Lovren played? Lovren gave inspiration and confidence all around him. His value to us was far more than 20m and in time that will dawn on the powers that be what a mistake caving into his demands were.

if there was a release clause, it would not have been 30m in the contract at that level. Clubs or agents would not be putting such high levels in an 18year olds contract. If there was a release clause saying if a club like Man U came along, they would know that we were stuffed and so we wouldn't have been able to negotiate such a high fee. Therefore Iam doubtful there was a release clause
-
Was he the Dj who was injured in a helicopter crash some years ago? RIP
-
If there was a release clause it would not have 30m or whatever we got
-
I hope you are right then if we do sign him
-
I think it would be prudent for Boruc to play as it may not be good for Forster to play behind that defence on his debut!
-
I haven't seen either play apart from a few highlights but do wonder you get to, the perfect fit
-
Why did the club grow some balls after Lovren had left . Those statements should have been made weeks before. I can see why MS seems to feel victimised. We set the precedent (ok Lets Be?) and now we have resentment
-
very much my thoughts as well. Ok Ings is a Saints fan, doesn't mean he will cut it for us
-
More like the lead in the Goonies IMOIMO
-
Surely at 29he should learnt the art of finding space by now. I haven't seen hi play and so can't comment on how good he may be for us, but I hold out hope he will come good
-
Shame Kruger did not make the stand a week or so before
-
i don't. Think we needed evidence
