At the end of the day those people have to do the work somewhere and so why not at the local football club. if I was in his shoes i would do the same.As their rabid hatred of Saints in so ingrained any mention of the No.1 club in Hampshire would get him the sack. He is playing to his readership, although Iam surprised he doesnt do it in crayon

Tanvir is a liability,he did his best to lose us the game in the last over in the qtr finals. To lose to Surrey was disappointing especially after the way they were taken apart in the final.

I was surprised at the positive reaction that he got when he came on. I expected a negative from the 'he's just a donkey' fans who cant see his qualities. i misjudged the average neutral fan. When he scored he was so pleased and it was great to an English man showing how pleased he was proud to score for his homeland. After he scored I thought of the guy who stands about 10 rows back in the centre of the Northam who gives him terrible stick about being a' fat lazy #### ' Well there you go RL has shown he is a good player. I watched Skysports this morning and they showed a training session. There were all the players passing the ball to their mates and never thinking about RL. The same as when MLT was in the squad, Ince and his mates keeping him as an outsider.

Iam so insular regarding world football and dont know of any of these players that so many are getting excited about. Perhaps it is because I dont play those FIFA football games.
