Alan, I agree,I recall the posts on here saying NP was going to be England manager. If we go down NA is probably the best man to get us back up, but it would be hard to find another RL to score 20plus goals. We need to stay up, and some of the bizarre team selections might have been costly

Both have not been incompetent in this league but both have had bad days. Please do not give the impression that NA is some super manager, yes in the lower leagues but the PL? It will be interesting to see what PL club sacks their manager to take NA on,

May I also say that when I mentioned about how fans were happy for KD to be cast aside after all he had done, There were posts saying you can't be sentimental etc etc those same people are now up in arms. Football has become is distasteful industry,I don't think it was ever different

The new manager is coming in before a very difficult run of games coming up. That brave timing for him to join us. I doubt NA would get us many points out of the next 4 games and so assume NC weighed up that the next 4 games gives the new man time to assess us. After the next 4 games he then must perform to get us to safety.

I don't believe that, NC may be some things but I doubt he would do such a thing

fair points but we have had 3different keepers and strange team selections and substitutions. The 2 all draw the other night was not down to brilliant tactics but we got out of jail.

The best English manager of this generation! Could that not be McDermott,as he with less resources won the CCC. I will always be grateful for what NA did for us but if NC is a man of his word and he had a plan with ML to get us to the higher level then I can see why he has become frustrated with NA and the way the season had gone. I was perfectly happy chugging along in the bottom 5, the old Southampton way but it seems NC isn't

Football fans will happily believe anything. How many months ago were they saying that NA was a puppet ,that NC was picking the team etc. We then went on a good run and those accusations went away, now a respected manager from Europe comes in and fans say he is a puppet.Laughable, if it was the case he would get a 50k a year man in to do the job

Yep the fans need to show their worship of NA, some are so bloody minded they would be happy to sing the songs even if it means a negative effect on the team. I understand their sentiments,I find it easier as I was never fully behind NA and his odd decisions

If he is one of the brightest managers then British football is in trouble. His vision to take RL AL and JP off with 25minutes to go when leading against Man U was visionary

I don't think RL would be too chuffed with NA this season
