  1. its funny how his attitude has changed to this highly paid player now he is leaving. He is just like a spoilt child and is happy now he is allowed to have a bar of chocolate. He is like Ho's clone
  2. they wont be liquidated, that is now looking certain. They are not toast but slightly singed .
  3. all the kits are s### due to the adverts on the fronts. The Newcastle one is ironic with a PL footballer with money splashed all over the front. Fans should boycott buying the shirts until the branding is removed. You are just walking advertising hoardings wearing them

  5. seems that more on here are starting to see that yet again Pompey.... ... .... .... ..
  6. You have to credit the Pompey fans as htey have had far more media coverage than we did when we looked as if we were going pop. Hardly a word, and no phone ins then. I still believe it is a sham and BC is going to take them on. If the pressure offloads a coupe more of the highly paid players all the better for BC but if not he will still take it on. If not he would have walked by now
  7. for all those who say 'this is fun, let them survive' I remember when they were minutes from liquidation before and MM came in and saved them. I was told then that they would never recover and be in the lower leagues. What happened they rose and we had to stomach their time in the sun and all the crowing the likes of Ho and co came at us with. All the time we argued about the club not affording it but still they put together a team of internationals and in turn had their glory. We have had our warning from history, let them be crushed and so the air of Hampshire is cleansed, the children of East Hants can be re-educated and they can see the light and become Saints not Skates.
  8. I think it looks like a lot of talking is going on and it looks like a deal is coming together. Whilst they will be wounded, they will still be alive to get up to thier old tricks again. I think my £50 wager is safe, although i will pay up anyway as I dont want to cheat childrens charities!!
  9. I was a s/t holder for decades, but last season did not attend and will only do a few games this season. When I was a s/t holder it was always comforting to know if we got a major game getting a ticket was a done deal. I believe that is fair and so all the fans who travel home and away will now get priority and people like me who go to few games will have to sweat for tickets. it will hurt but it is very fair as long as they keep to the rules.
  10. I firmly believe that BC will take them on, he is just trying to use the scare tactics to get rid of most of the high earners. He will still have the shell of a football club that may well fund itself
  11. it is despicable that they are mentioning the players names. If the administrator put his hand up and said that he will waive his fees and BC as well then they would have the moral high ground. I think you will find the administrator also gets a cut of every sale as a commission and so he also gains on a move (Clapham is that correct?)
  12. amazing, I wasnt sure what he was going to use next!
  13. if you look at the picture from the news you can see in the background there is a sizeable contingent. Forget not the Naval connection and many may have traveled back to met an old flame at the dockyard
  14. i think our kit is great and the days of fans looking like walking deck chairs are in the past. Just need to get rid of the sponsors logo
  15. it has been edited now and the picture and Clyne's name corrected
  16. and we have Pompeys answer to Lucy Pinder
  17. TB has now lowered himself to feed from the sewer pipe like the rest of them. There he is lying on his back with his mouth open waiting to feed on the next log that falls his way. At no time does he consider the pain that 'great club' has inflicted on the creditors. For every free tour they have on a fan, they have begged, cheated hundreds more and the tax payer on their way to the top table.I suspect many of the decent Pompey fans squirm at the begging letter today and will hate the fact that such an act is being played out in the name of their club. I am always suspicious of the actions of these people and perhaps Trousers is correct that they are hoping to hoodwink the FL. I thought when we were given our points penalty that we were told we would not get our golden share or a bigger penalty if we appealed.
  18. So not toast then? Bloody hell im going to have to go and relaunch 'Pompey will get away with it Newco' If that comes to pass they would have dodged the bullet yet again.
  19. perhaps it is good business. The trialists told to go on their own steam and so costs are kept low, whilst no appearance money etc is paid to the contracted players
  20. Very interesting insight Pat. I didnt realise the Wright was treated badly.
  21. Hasnt Pompey been funded by local businessmen for the last 10 years, they of course did not intend to
  22. Until it was run around the Salisbury area, i had naively thought that there were people running the whole route not getting on and off a coach. hardly the Olympic spirit
  23. Oh dear i might have to reconsider 'they will get away with it' tm. I was confident last week reading on here that they were indeed finished , but seeing the likes Howard etc joining up as trialists and I may have a re-think. Taking on a no.2 shows that TB feels there is life in the club. Pretty disappointing really that they can still try and sign some decent players for that level.
  24. yep that will be good, although you know how things change in this saga, the name could be re-listed again !!!!
  25. I wonder how TB feels at present because it seems to me , that decision could well make his liability as an administrator land in his lap. It will focus his mind as he could well end up with the liability. This could hasten his decision what to do with the club
