that was obvious as he was of very little words
-
it has surprised me how little Newcastle have improved/ not imporved
-
your posts are getting more and more desperate. If an unknown consortium were trying to buy us I doubt you'd be so worried.MJ is just the frontman, if Salz IS there we have a safety net so we are quids in
-
I think HR said that about Bournemouth just before they went into admin
-
I also will back anybody who eventually takes over, but in the meantime Id rather take the bird in the hand rather than the one in the bush.If MJ fails Ill soon jump ship to the next potential winner as we need it to survive.
-
The problem is that if they haven't submitted a bid Fry could put us into liquidation before they have time to act.I would assume they should put a formal bid in so Fry does have thatr fall back
-
Hypo I do hope you have good proof of that accusation.Im sure it is all IYHO of course
-
I think he will be happy to have got his reputation back and see many eat their words, and perhaps commission as well.If so good luck to him
-
Well call all the kings horses and all the kings men
-
As i say it is off the wall.
-
Well he no doubt he is good at his work, not so effective at getting bids to buy a football club together. 18months or more his name has been bandied about so surely you can see why Iam less than enthuisiastic about him. As for Mj, perhaps he is now more experienced at getting people together and has a list of people he knows and does talk to them. I doubt all the people who set up major deals walk around in pin stripe suits and are ex Etonians.
-
A completely off the wall theory would be that Pinnacle +MJ are dummy interests to string the administrators out and then they both pull out to leave just Salz and co to buy us for a pittance. Mad I know but who knows with saints and big business. Yes MJ etc would have spent 5-6 figure sums but if it was to mean £m's reduced??? i dont think it is a serious scenario but..
-
so they might be but I have lost my faith in them due to the time they have been sniffing around. If they are the only hope I will support them
-
because I assume they dont want to really be involved or they only want to work by themselves or tyrekickers. How many weeks have they had to try and get something organised, 80 odd ? Morph said that they were waiting to be invited to make a bid Lol. Do they think Fry is going to around all people who have ever made an interest known? People scoff at MJ but to think that makes me think they are Mickey Mouse

I was talking to a friend whose lads are in Big Num spurs fans and he said how can the city let the club and facilities go? he also said what a good area the itchen concourse was and would be quite a good facility to be used for small gigs.Another revenue stream for the club perhaps?
-
How could you put a predudice ahead of the survival of the club????? Until you/we know are potentailly behind him why make a knee jerk judgement like that. For you to go last night shows you obviously feel for the club
-
I must admit I thought that the bouncy castles etc would be buzzing. It is hard to say but my estimation would be 300 in the afternoon. It seems many have lost their love of the club.

Top athletes yearn for our physiques. Anyway back on thread are you going to play the forum match. You look as though you were a centre half and you must have headed the ball a lot of times, especially the old fashioned leather ones soaked with water.

for a nation of supposed dog lovers many seem to be able to humiliate their pets.
-
Ah stooping to the spell checker stuff, your material has run dry.
-
I concour, we will have a long time to mull over our decision if we do not get bought. Surely even if they save us for 2 seasons it may give others time to make a bid for us when the economic situation is better.
-
I felt bad leaving when the StPeppers were playing, they were entertaining for all us old Beatles fans. Big Num were load and energetic.Sadly a lot of the heavy stuff was too loud for my old ears.but you could hear it outside well.Coast were very good.

A tenuous link is his playing days with us in Branfoots time

Where was that reported Art?

we couldnt be that lucky could we?
