Southampton FC tyre kickers of the PL. We call timewasters here as ice cream lickers or carpet wearers. Seems like Saints like to view the stock but dont buy unless the 70% off ticket is displayed lol

Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!
OldNick replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
Prob lem is that if Morgan did shine, he will command even more money and enhance his lifestyle but of no advantage to us -
We obviously learnt the lesson with Gakpo in the summer............ohhhh

Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!

It is on Sky sports -
This takes the biscuit that we cant even hold onto our young players
-
thats what I wondered, I assume we would have put the same in ours. Bournemouth may of course offer a larger signing on fee. The loyalty bonus always makes me smile. 'loyalty ffs'
-
Oh dont start that, we will get a string of managers. Dyche probably, a man who plays long ball but 'We dont play football that way' if the posts after the Forest game are anything to go by
-
The summer just gone apparently, 'we won the transfer window,' according to a few on here
-
Are you a time traveller? Your judgement is that we wont and you may well be proved right. Perhaps start a petition to get the PL to cancel the rest of our games as we are down
-
To me, any transfer negotiations that seem to go on for a long while rarely ends well. It alerts other clubs and may also mean the player isnt that committed to join us. Rarely do Brightons transfer targets get into the press before they have signed them. Cortese made sure the same happened with us, keep it quiet and then pounce

Unusual wording where it says 'Nico has accepted the terms of the contract.'

Good god, Im a glass half empty person but reading some of the posts on here you'd think we are 10 points cut adrift!! I dont think we will need 38 points this season. We are only a few points away from getting out of the bottom 3. If we were 3 points clear of the drop we wouldnt be saying we're safe and 3 points behind doesnt mean we are doomed ffs. Yes we need some more players, the talk coming out of the club doesn't sound as if we are going to buy much but lets see. If you were SR you are not going to let the investment go too easily. and so will be working on staying up. Jackson lookd a nonsense signing to me anyway. I liked the look of the Japanese Celtic player. Ps I read that Ings has got injured
-
I assume Villa kept Jan until after we played them so that he didnt snuff their forwards out lol
-
Any idea who we can buy who scores 20 a season who will A. Join us in a relegation fight B. Cost 30M or less
-
Perhaps listen to the Totalsaintspodcast and you will hear a good explanation of this by Jacob Tanswell. It made sense

I thought the high line was a good way to defend freekicks, many times the opponents scored but it was chalked off for offside. What the opponents started doing was have a player burst through after starting a couple of yards out. Sadly we have KWP doing the blocking of that player and he was too waek to stop this player who then went on and scored. In principle done well and it worked well. Like the Che sitting down after 60 mins so we could get energy drinks stopped and we went into freefall from there as well
-
Sadly the one who really could have made us something died before he could get us the glory we deserve.
-
Bednarek is not my favourite player and I was happy that Villa took him on. Fact is he's one of ours and so we should embrace him and hope he can help us win a few matches.
-
If he went to Grimsby he would say the same to the clubs website, fans suck all this talk up as though they mean it. Ings was 'one of our own' apparently but really a Musketteer 'All for one and all for me'
-
Hasnt ever apologised either
-
So long ball is the way you wish for. They did the same with Big Sam, kept them up but
-
I dont understand the hilarity of the radio station. Having a radio station blaring all around Hants, Dorset Wiltshire advertising our club, tickets etc etc was a fantastic advertising tool. In principle it was valid.

There is not a person who doesn't at times have a different opinion to mine, they are wrong of course, but you accept it and counter. I do wonder if the mix of competitors is pretty negative on there, but perhaps thats where we are. I was called contrary by a Saints fan when I voiced my opinion the other day and perhaps he was correct but I do feel it would do us all a favour to have a bit more postive views. There again Id hate a happy clapper!! My record of wanting to keep Puel and to give him a chance, admire Nathan Redmond, seeing a positive in some of the things Rupert did, does put me in a certain bracket lol Great pod anyway

Apparently as they spread the transfer over 7 years and make payments in installments its a way around it. David Ornstein was on football daily on the BBC explaining it. Clever accounting
