  1. I find it interesting reading the thoughts of someone 'in the trade' and giving the perspective how Fry may think / work. Thanks
  2. If MB requested it could we change it from hats to full face masks. Those ugly pills he takes are really startig to work Lol
  3. I myself wouldnt call for a minutes silence..perhaps celebration
  4. The steward on the right i used to live in the same road as a kid and used to go to the games with him and my brother. Queueing up at 11 in the morning just to try and get in first to get to the front of the Archers.
  5. I dont think there is a timescale except as soon as the funds run dry he will then call in the liquidator. If LC is correct the club needs 500k to keep us going until the end of the season. Burnley s gate receipts may be important and so a good win at SW would not come amiss. One thing is for certain the administrator will not cough up any money to keep us going and so as soon asw he sees that there is no money to keep paying his fees he will pull the plug and the lights go out period. So basically I would suggest 2-3 weeks time. Exciting isnt it?
  6. You dont rate GB, like many others thats your choice. He will not be remembered as a great but he did what no other has done since and that was to get us to a whisker of the play off final. His team selections got us there not all the fans who were crying that KD was playing instead of their choice. He was the 1 who turned a failed full back into a multi million pound transfer, he turned Jones from a player who many said was useless into a multi million£ sale at the same time bringing in return a goalscorer who ultimately saved us from relegation after we plummeted down league after he walked out, who plucked a 16-17 yr old kid from the reserves to a muliti million £ sale. The moneyhe made from those sales more than paid for some of the excesses and it could be said if it was not for that money we could have been in administration last season as LC called the money outstanding in to keep us alive.Yes he made some poor decisions but it is the fans who think they know best who lost their nerve. Any team that had the heart ripped from, then the team stutters, that is what happened last season. it was soul destroying. As for KD I was having the same old arguements about his qualities then and only people wanted to see was the negatives and spoke about them, only as he consistantly proved them wrong that they were prepared to see he is a samned good keeper as he was then.
  7. In time the truth will come about how people were interested in buying the club on a few occasions even up to the last hours before administration and under other regimes. It wont be that administration is right it will be the fact that the club will have been sold off at a fraction of its worth and so many more people are interested. Only in a couple of years will we see if we have got out of jail or ruination (if nobody stumps up the money we will know sooner of course) I doubt we will get taken over by a multi billionaire
  8. Thats football, opinions that become fact when patently they are not.
  9. Why are we doing this? Will it be bibles for Hoddle next season?
  10. You could be right on that Vectis,it could be coincidence as West Ham fell apart when he went there.Funny thing football some faces fit in some clubs not at others. A slight difference there would be no club if no investor comes along. We'll look damned stupid if in our rush to get rid of Lowe we have nothing at all.
  11. Of course the same could be said of Wotte against NP as the squad that NP had was of a higher quality. Yes Bart instead of Davis. Lol
  12. I can see what you are saying but in all these things you have to go back to that time and place. He did ok and of course the heart was ripped out of the team.It is only opinion that he was not good but the stats say he did well. He bought some useful players and turned some players who werre not rated into multi million transfers. As I said i dont want to go into a long debate as nobody will change their minds.
  13. I dont want to get into a long debate about GB but the fact is we have never been in such a high league position from the time he left. It again is opinion that you believe he was a failure. I myself think we would not have been in the last day relegation fight had he still been at the club last season. So Alpine is not correct in that one, as we have not again achieved the league position since his departure. Whether he was a success for us that could be questionable but he had a lot to deal with during his tenure.
  14. Yep Widdrington bleeds red and white 'Ho way the saints'
  15. Yep black baseball hat blue tee shirt and biggest mouth, about right.I notice Lady Saint and a couple of other posters in there as well. They managed to edit you out though MB

Kelvin Davis JE and DMG, I think I also supported Lloyd as well.Funnily the best players in the squad, and you criticised. I think Im happy to stand by my judgement.
  17. The Administrator is there but I dont know who is sat with.
  18. I dont think its him as the bloke you are talking about is a lot fatter, and a bit of a Harry Enfield look a like
  19. but AL is far too lightweight and doesnt have a shot on him and not strong enough in the air.he played far better saturday than for a long time. i just hope the team can get some wins to keep us up
  20. Again fair points made but cut price tickets and bank holidays always attract more fans. You cannot easily base a business on that though.I would expect any person putting in an offer would factor in that the attendancesw would be 12-15k and any more is a bonus.

Fair comment, I was undeer the impression you had boycotted the whole season. Apologies if Iam wrong.

You wouldnt have seen them play anyway as you were in your boycott, it didnt matter if it was Ronaldo or would you have gone then? I wonder if it would be best that RL was still there if all the returnees wish to do is criticise the players. Wotton is not a star player i'll give you that but he is what you need when you need to grind out results.he has not had a consistant run ion the side to get a understanding with the rest of the players.Safri was a better player, but decided to leave as a last payday.

A will to win, not give up like a load of posters on here. It is funny every time when we win its because they were #### or on the beach, if we lose it was because our players dont care or are ####
  24. Wes you and quite few others turned your back on the club. That was your perogative but I dont see you are any morally higher than the fans who dont go as a steward was rude to them once. It is all personal choice. The actions of some meant the club was starved of funds, add to that decisions by Lowe LC MW and all the rest of the goons who have had control and that is why we find ourselves where we are now. What happens if the next crew is not to your taste? Another boycott perhaps. I didnt even think to look up to the directors box as it doesnt matter to me that much.i would love to have the power to eject Askham and all the others, i cant and so just get on with supporting the club.Doesnt make me a better fan though. I myself dont gree that there were more than a few hundred who would be so put off by Lowe , just a case of poor football. What was the crowd last season on a bank holoday, i doubt if it was less in fact it was more. If that is the case can we say that the reduced amount is due to fans staying away as Lowe had gone? Of course not but it could be seen as that if you use the same logic
