Thanks Ron but 'eloquently' is not something Im usually accused of. I am very pleased to have that compliment. It does seem that some parties thought they would get the club for a song and were 'carpet baggers' that plan has been torpedoed and I can hear the stamping of little feet. (not Duncans) I worry that many fans have been blind to what could turn out to be a disaster.

You are wrong, I have made it clear all along I dont rate NP as some demi god as some do but he should have been kept on. Wotte's stats still are comparable to NP's with a lesser squad, it proves nothing and so your barb is not called for.3 wins in 17 games was relegation form as well, fortune favoured us last season in the run in and I was as delighted as anyone.

unfortunately the fans aredivided , this issue is another that will run. It is impossible to say what would have happened .Myself I believe he would have done better over the season that the Dutch duo, but so would have Wotte. The whole problem stems from the fact that we had to slash costs and so any quality we had (that was not much) and work with what was left.IMO NP had a far better squad to work with and for 1 reason alone he should have been kept on was that the fans were right behind him. We as a fan base have to move on from all this. Are we going to talk about RL and NP forever, it is tiring and devisive. The fans have their minds mind up and unless facts come out to change our mindsets nothing will change.

considering you were baying for admin I think its churlish now for you to complain what we get. You made your bed and all that..

Has he managed a team? In had the impression he was sacked in non league football?

Duncan how do you know your friends are any better than any others? My experience in life when I have sold anything that is of any real value is that the people coming in gushing saying how wonderful the product/house/car etc is, are the ones who never proceed when the quiet laid back non commital ones are the real deal. It concerns me that if they are so worried about competition they have little resources to spare if they win the bidding. I wonder if they had believed that they would wait and get the club at a bargain on the floor price and dont like the thought that perhaps there is more competition than they had bargained for. That would be funny. We need a sustainable group/Preferably individual who does not baulk because the cost is a couple more million than they had hoped. I agree the timewasters need to move aside but the stronger the competition will sort out the men from the boys. The Administrator will be rubbing his hands at this lovely windfall falling into his hands, when the bank could have easily let us trade on. Somebody had made miscalculation and as a fan Im annoyed.

To be fair NP had the luxury of having John and many of the other highly paid players last season combined with some expensive loans. At this moment the clubs very existance is more important than who was best manager. We had to reduce the baank overdraft by 1.5m that increased to 2.5m whoever was in charge would have little to work with. They wouldnt have a 25 goal forward and the ability to sign loanees from Arsenal or Man u, add to that being bankrolled to the tune of just under 10m. It is not a fair comparison, and after the initial few weeks where I thought that Wotte had made a good start the last 3 games has killed that.

Roger that really p#####d me off, when Surman was smiling . Im angry tonight with the way we have all those decent people who have on their bank holiday spent time and money getting up there and seeing that. The players had better understand that the fans are angry and if they think they can go throught the paces they have another thing coming. I have been understanding but there is no excuse at all for the way they went about their job today. Saga after turning me around from being not impressed into believing I was wrong has now lost me again. He doesnt seem to care and ineffective.Yes he has a run og goals but he has done little in the past few weeks/games. I can see the fans not being patient with the players monday if they dont show some fight and passion, i know we are nearly down but i will not accept that the players do not spill blood in the next few games.Any of you away fans dont deserve today and you were great again. That old lady who gave £500 to save the saints should be repaid the money by the players who turned out today, she showed more fight desire and passion that the lot of them. Goodnight

I thought he signed for Wolves at the end of last season?

i agree it has nothing to do with the stick the Northam gave to those fans deserting after their 3rd goal. -
and complain because they cant get a ticket. You know the ones, I used to have a season ticket and so deserve a ticket to the final
-
a sad Lol

Im sure the administrators would be delighted, the could then clock up some more fees. The Krankies consortium. Of course both were right but both wrong, I thought your dossier will be full now.I do hope the pictures you have on your wall of me are taken from my best side.

but somebody was there.Much like when the others tried it all came to nothing.Tyrekickers are still there and costing us money again.I hate to think how much the proposed takeovers cost the club before this last jaunt into the unknown.

Well RL was in charge.

The first cut is the deepest.

When we were about to go into administration it was put back from 5 at night to 11pm as an investor was there wanting to buy.I think the reason was proof of funds could not be shown. It was in the media on the day

what happens to the bet if you are both right or wrong do I get it?

All very disappointing. The traincrash last saturday was not very exciting and so they have deserted us again. Is it due to RL being on tv, it surely isnt a case that fans want to see the team win. Watch them flood back if it is going to be last ever game at the stadium against Burnley etc. Anything less than 25k and it shows that we have a very fickle fanbase apart from 15k go through the good time and bad time hardcore. -
No but it came mightily close didnt it? All 11th hour stuff.
-
I hope you haven't laid out more than you can afford.

Still here just have more pressing things to worry about than Pompeys biggest bravest supporter. I notice again your posts have increased again, quite prolific since our going inot administration. Something that I was/am totally against. It is wrong that suppliers are going to lose out.I have no pride in that.I sincerely hope we wriggle out of the minus 10 points something you didnt have to worry about and frankly if that penalty was not around now i suspect saints and many others would have gone in months ago. You have always been smaug and so its hard to tell if you are more smug than normal, but as you are on here more regulairly again I suggest you are. Fortunately for you the records of your past claims about the stadium are erased, and so you cant be shown to be the big time charlie we know you are.We only had a few posts from you in feb and march but the other major penalty for going into administration is that you noiw again feel ****sure of yourself and can come back on again.

I thought he had a stammer when he kept saying Vodafone, Vodafone, Vodafone until I saw him watching the adverts flashing across the screen on those noisy billboards.
-
I think you are in dangerous territory questioning the integrity of the Administrator. They earn too much to worry about appeasing RL
-
As I have said RL was showing people around the club weeks before administration.
